+Corey Makes perfect sense to me. Let's break it down for you though. Exclusives, such as the Comic Con ones or basically this whole list, should not count since not just anyone could get one. People know when buying an exclusive means there's only so many made.

However because they were rare before the property really became mainstream I honestly believe the ones mentioned in this video will continue to be rare for years to come. I do agree though, that for the most part nothing they've released in the past 2 years will really hold much value.

+Dylan Torres (Vinylguy64) I don't think they'll bottom out as bad as beanie babies, just for the fact they have a lot of popular licenses like superheroes, sci-fi, Disney, etc. that people will continue to love. So while some less popular figures (like say, plain zombie Walking Deads or certain WWE ones) might be worthless, I think most will retain some value even if very few end up being worth much more than their original selling price. But that's pretty much how all collectible markets have been since the 90's. Too many people got smart and started collecting boxed figures and the rarity dies off.

+RandomTens oh yea there are ones that are rare and there's no doubt about that but look at the after market, I tried getting the snuffy pop and I couldn't stomach it lol I think the more common ones will eventually be worthless and the rare ones will go somewhat down in price, that being the more common "rare" pops, things like the clockwork pop will be for ever rare and expensive

I think it will depend on the figure itself or what property it is from. They have a pretty wide range so diehard fans of any given franchise might just be willing to give good money for a figure of their favorite character. Especially if there isn't much else for it merch wise in an figure form.

I would love to see more videos about funko pops. I just recently got in to collecting them and im all about learning more about what im collecting.

Popvinyls.com is really good they have a list of pop's that are coming soon and of ones that have already been released.

pops are so cute but paying anything above 20 bucks for a single one is a no go for me

Good video man with some good knowledge about Funko pops. I too had no idea what these were until about a year and a half ago. Now, I collect various ones LOL. Once you start with these things you can't stop. But, I also can't believe the value of some of them. It boggles the mind.

I love these! They don't usually sell Pops here in Croatia but on a gaming convention I bought a Hatsune Miku Pop Rock and it is probably the best thing in my house lol

+Funko Fiasco I mean for one rare Batman Pop! you could effectively buy like 20 lesser valued versions of the character. So yeah it's sort of crazy when you think of it that way haha!

My first Pop Vinyl bobble head is the Black Suit Spider-Man Pops that I ordered from Amazon last Friday morning and it came in the mail yesterday

The GITD Clockwork Orange actually got sold to a collector, he didn't say how much but probably around the $2-$3k.

I wonder what happened with the MMPR Funko Pops. I got a Red Ranger at regular price a couple of years ago, but after that the prices for all three shot right up. I've never seen them for sale anywhere other than eBay. Did Funko just stop making them?

I have quite a few Grail pops and I've only spent $10 on 99% of them. The only ones I can remember spending anything significant on was Masters of the Universe Spikor and hordak and those were only $25 when I bought them and they're pushing a hundred bucks a piece now

My local comic book shop has an entire wall, and it's just Funko Pops. They have a ladder so people can get to the top. It's amazing. It's like 200 by 200 pops and they go 3 back to the wall. The ones I want are always at the fucking top row smh.

A Clockwork Orange is my favourite movie and it makes me so sad to know that I'll never own one of those figures
