Ive heard of a strat for the Tibetan Hordes where you start as someone in Indochina who can quickly form Siam (like Lan Xang), then form Siam and get Siamese ideas, then push into the Tibet area and culture swap to Tibetan to form Tibet but keep Siam's ideas, then trigger the event to become a horde. Congrats, youre now a horde with +1 Cavalry Fire

well, most nations controlling the province could release it via decision after ming loses the south, which is very likely.

Sale, the nation, actually has the potential to be the most broken Pirate Republic in terms of Republican Tradition. It has the Barbary Corsair idea set which gives .5 RT. Being Muslim, Sale can invite an Ismaili scholar (with great difficulty, as you likely start as Sunni) for another .5 RT. This will offset the natural decay that Pirate Republics get. This allows you quite a bit of freedom in both re-elections and what pirate faction you want to keep in Power.

I like how the Koxinga event occurs historically during the Ming-Qing Transition but Qing never forms in EU4 so the only way you can see the event happen is if you yourself trigger it

Wrong, qing doesnt have to appear, ming only has to disintegrate. Koxinga appeared in my multiple games as long as ming fell apart

Considering how in real life a lots of bad RNG happened to Ming , like shit rulers, estate taking over country and random rebel popping out of nowhere. Qing irl for formed due to luck mostly. I am surprised Qing wasnt considered a lucky nation.

So as Ternate i started to colonise Taiwan. Just as my 1st province was done the Koxinga- event fired and the other 2 provinces where now occupied. Then Tungning declared war against me (idk if they fabricated a claim or had a claim all along) and took my moluccan- cultured province. Certified bruh moment.

Matt is correct - they are both Random New World exclusives and I think Atlantis has a spawn rate of 1/10000 (according to a reddit post) so best of luck!

Salé and Tungning have actually spawned a multitude of times in my playthroughs, so I was quite surprised to see that they are considered to be fairly rare nations.

The Taiwanese nation isn't that hard to get, you'll see it every time you're dismantling Ming. The only other one I've seen is Kalmyk. I was playing something in Central or Western Europe and I took a look at Eastern Europe out of curiosity and there it was.

Tunging formed in a game i played as Oda. At the start of the game i thought i would neves acquire Taiwan as i was keeping oda ideas and not colonizing, but it suddenly appeared around 1500 (while ming imploded) and i quickly seized it.

I've seen both Tungning (at least 3 or 4 times) and Koshuund (without me piloting to force-triggering the events that spawn them). Tungning appears not so rarely, it need only Ming to blow up with the right timing... usualy the hardest part for them is to survive to Japan, Qing, colonizers and other coastal states that appears from the dissolution of Ming.... so they usualy don't last very much. Only time they survived in a game, i was playing Tibet and allied them, other times they were retaken by Ming or some other Chinese state, or eaten by Japan

I've gotten Kalmyk to appear quite a few times actually. Despite the specific requirements, they are often met when I'm not playing as Russia or one of the Mongolian hordes, or whenever I don't influence those regions. Whenever it appears, I'm like, "Oh. There's Kalmyk."

Just want to point out that CK3 has an EU4 save converter, you can totally continue your CK3 games in EU4.

I just happen to have seen Habsan appear in one of my Yemen runs where i vassalized the Vj opm for the sweet cores. I didn't gave it much thought cuz it was like a opm againts an crumbling Bahmanis. (Habsan still lost lmao)

During a Russian ironman game i actually got the kalmyks, i didnt even realize that they had so many conditions to spawn! i knew they were rare but thats just lucky. nice video btw man

I've seen Khalka, Sale and Tugning, but I've so far only played as sale. Sale also gets a few pirate brothers on the north African coast, as meli-something and at least one Tunisian province have the same event that allows you to raise the black

I am pretty sure I have seen a trick where you can make a Zulu core in one of your provinces as Mutapa and then release Zulu and play as them, I think it was video by Ludi

I've recently finished my 2nd EU4 campaign and got to release Sale from Morroco. Also in my 1st one Ottomans got Kalmyks as their march :D

Alzabo, I'm also an EU4 fanatic. I have 3,656 hours logged since at least January 1st, 2017. I'm using that date since I can't remember when I got my first PC as a gift from my brother, but it was certainly no earlier than that date.

That "isreal-ly difficult" came out of nowhere. Not that the pun was out of place, but the pronunciation was so close to a vowel in certain Swedish accents that I was left stunned and dazzled

I actually saw Sale and Tungning spawn in the same game one time. It was extremely cringe to see how Tungning actually invaded Japan and Korea while Sale invaded Morocco

I still watch and enjoy these videos (love the puns 😉 and your voice) even though I haven't played a meaningful playthrough of EUIV in years 😔 Also, your voice reminds me of Zach from JerryRigEverything. Yours is a bit deeper though.

I was playing a game as a pirate kono, planning on creating a pirate japan and I had been raiding ming for a while, ofcourse the mingsplosion happened and they died, I was colonising Taiwan when tunging spawned, I just thought this was a common thing that happened if you tried to colonise Taiwan, thanks for enlightening me.

That’s way you play much interesting 1356 sub mode. Which has historically accurate cultural-religious borders and ton shit of new tags, if I remember correctly jalayarids are on it too

When i play in eastern asia Tungning forms every time i cause a Mingsplosion, i didn't know it was a rare nation. Not sure if it can form when you partially colonize Taiwan yourself..I've seen Salè at least once when i was playing as Bologna for the Spaghetti western achievement

@@spatrk6634 I've done it three times in my non-achievement non-MP runs. Once as the Theocratic Crusader Empire of Semien, once as the Revolutionary Plutocratic Republic of the Ainu (who owned the entire New World), and once as a custom nation in the Anbennar mod. In many ways it can get pretty damn boring, but it can also be fun in other ways.

@@LordDarkhelm i always end up blobbing too fast, waiting for aggressive expansion to tick down. every game i play turns into world conquest basically. which i never finished. best game i played was forming roman empire with Aragon in late 1600's and then i quit. couldnt force myself to finish the world conquest. i just had in my mind that i could do it. but i didnt lol

Nice video mate, finally you do some EU4 content again. CK3 is nice, but..... I dont like it, i simply dont care abouty royal family and just want to have a nice empire

6:00 wow its so weird you mention Kalmyk cos I've never seen it before until this playthru I'm doing as Saxony... I had Russia as an Ally for a long time but now I have a PU over a huge Poland they want those lands so they broke the alliance.. but I noticed recently that Kalmyk does exist in this playthru. its very noticeable cos Russia took huge amounts of land apart from that...
