BTW Andy has a doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary, and he pastors a large Houston church, and he is president of a seminary, and he has authored around 18 books. It would be difficult to find someone better credentialed that is alive today.

@@jesussaves5354 I am not questioning Mr Woods integrity or his relationship with the Lord. I grew up believing much of what he teaches. I was saved at a Baptist summer camp at 14. But growing up, some teachings just didn't make sense. For example, everlasting burning hell. Think it thru. How could one preach such a thing ....millions and billions and trillions of years burning and never burning up? And then, in the same breath, God is love?? I just had a hard time making those 2 ideas fit? We are living in serious times. I do not question anyone's faith, I can't read the heart. As far as the positions they hold, please consider John 7:45-48 with special consideration to verse 48.

@@michaelreyes-er8el Good points. I was just inviting you to give a listen to Dr. Woods. It's true that God is love, but He's not only love. Due to His infinite nature, He's also true and just and righteous and pure and so on... He can't live in the presence of sinful people that reject Him. I don't fully understand it all either but it seems to be the way it is. Thankfully, there is a solution through Jesus Christ (who solves that heaven/hell/sin problem).

I'm getting more opposition from believers rejecting or holding off Rapture. They are confused and grumpy. But we are excited for Jesus soon appearing.

I am convinced these voices of dissent are coming from churches still carrying false doctrine from the RCC. Catholics do not believe in the rapture at all because it bypasses purgatory and thus the RCC would lose too much money on indulgences. Plenty, if not most churches, still carry RCC baggage from the Protestant Reformation. It did not go far enough. It's up to us to rid ourselves of all RCC doctrine and tradition once and for all.

@@JesseMgala I don't think any of them sit through a Bible lesson to see how old and new testament scriptures dovetail to paint Gods beautiful picture of rescuing His bride from Jacobs Trouble. God has not appointed His children to wrath.

This man is a false prophet, one of three unclean spirits that come out of the mouth of the dragon ( satan) the book of Revelation 16 : 13 -14 the spirits of devils, working miracles that go out to the world to have the last snd ginsl battle with God. The three unclean spirits look like frogs are the dragon (satan), the beast( countries, governments, powers, anti christ) and thfe false prophet ( false doctrines, false teachers, traditions etc) , they are the trinity that wiill form a confederacy to conspire agsinst God's people. God's people that keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus. Read Revelation 14: 6 -12.

_You still with them here? It's 2024 and I've just discovered Mr. Woods, even though I've walked with the Lord listening to many for 23 years. I also attend virtually [since 2019] due to the wokeness of the local "churches". I've been with the Calvary Chapels in California [am] & Hawaii [pm] (Hibbs/Farag), alternating my tithes each month. Nevertheless, was curious about your experience here. I've found no fault in his teachings yet, but only a hand full of them in. Maranatha_

Many of the pretribulation only take the new testament version, there are verses in the prophets in the Old Testament that refute this. Isiah 57:1 for instance. God does not leave his children behind ever.

Jesus promised tribulation which is different than wrath...MATTHEW 24 He tells us that HE will remove the Saints in the middle of the great tribulation.. tribulation is suffering JESUS said to join with HIM in His sufferings

I'm so blessed to hear this teaching today,. Dr Woods has explained it so clearly. I've recently encountered very aggressive post trib Christians who confused me with different interpretations. Thank you so much for a clear explanation, I can't wait to learn more in Part 2. Praise and glory be to God for his word! Amen

There was no pre tribulation rapture doctrine prior to Nelson Darby in the nineteenth century. Don't be deceved by Jesuits, Masons and Rosicrucians, they flood the congregation and mislead with apostate doctrine such as dispensationalism. Beware so called "Christian" holidays featuring fertility symbols like eggs, rabbits trees (phallic symbol) and "balls" hanging from said tree. Pray for discernment.

@@RaptureofSaints How do you explain Noah escaping flood? How do you explain Lot escaping Sodom Gomorrah? How do you explain John being told in book of Revelation " Come up here". How do you explain Jesus saying "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left." How do you explain two withesses in book of Revelation being told "Come up here" exact words spoken to John. Aren't these rapture verses?

jCentricity JC The reference to two in the field; one shall be taken, and the other left. I was confused about that passage myself. However, that is not a Rapture passage. It is in Matthew 24:40. That chapter speaks about Christ’s actual second coming or The Day of the Lord. I think it is referring to the angels reaping the wheat from the tears in judgement. I wish Pastor Woods could answer that question.

Tell that to the early Christians. And christians living in muslim countries today. Wanna tell them how God doesnt love them? Liz, the pre trib doctrine only sets you up for disappointment..its easier to believe it because you dont have to think of going through tribulation but Jesus said in the world we will have tribulation. Tribulation is not the wrath of God

Most of the town is either Catholic or Lutheran for starters, then most Pastors don't teach prophecy or Revelation. It's very frustrating my brother!! Shallow and watered down teaching. So, I'm online most of the time.

Yes, this is a common problem in many churches. So sad, because people go to church to get the truth but get a weak, watered down version of Christianity ... and then certain Christians wonder why others have stopped going to church. 🤦‍♀️ I’m so tired of elaborate traditions and not enough truth. Since the Bible is about 1/4 prophecy shouldn’t pastors be focusing on teaching Bible prophecy on a regular basis? Just give me the real meat, already. I’m very thankful for solid prophecy teaching that I’m finding on line. Looks like the real church is finally emerging. Hallelujah! ❤️

All these plus everyone we've known in christ who went on before, friends and family.

I believe the rapture because if I wake up thinking Jesus may pluck me out of my existence at any moment, then its just one more reason to devote my moments here to Christ. Its just another reason to fear God (in a good way because he is so Holy).

Another interesting point about the quarantine happening now: In the past, the idea of the rapture troubled me a tiny bit, because *if the world was carrying on like normal,* the sudden disappearance of millions around the world would cause many tragedies. (Planes without pilots falling from the sky, driverless cars crashing, etc...) This quarantine seems like something God would prepare as part of the solution to this. It will minimize the number of accidents and many of the dangers to those left behind when we are caught up.

Andy is a great teacher who rightly divides the Word of Truth. This is a poignant message for the times we're in. The Rapture is our Blessed Hope and it's drawing ever nearer.

Several years ago, when I was a Roman Catholic, I was at a service where the priest tried to use the argument that there was no rapture because the word rapture didn't appear in scripture, but neither is the word trinity, but he never discussed that!

The Catholics have no knowledge of Scripture because most of them do not read their Bible. They believe the lies of the priests and just believe whatever they are told. They pray to Mary (idolatry) who is dead, they think the pope is "holy," which he is a demon, and they call priests "father," which is forbidden in Matthew 23:9. I'm go happy to hear you believe the truth of the rapture.... See you in the clouds soon.

Mark, the Romans (RCC) translated “Rapture” as “Rapturo.” The New Testament written in Greek translates “Rapture” as “Harpazo” and refers to the speedy catching away of the Body of Christ/ Church out of this world. 🎺 ⛅️ 🕊 🙌🏻 👑

We're not seeing a focus on the tribulation, rapture, or end-times Bible prophecy in the Christian churches today, but give it a minute. With events starting to heat up in frequency and intensity, I think the church is about to be jolted awake. When that happens, the church won't be able to shut up about Bible prophecy. We'll be hearing about it all the time; not only in the churches, but all through our society. That will probably trigger the end-time re-awakening.

There is so much of it out there in these uncertain times and the father of lies is taking advantage of it . Believe that jesus died for your sins was buried and rose again on the 3rd day and you will be saved according to the scriptures 🙏❤

One thing that seems weird to me is that we get our new bodies after the rapture, then we come back to earth for the 1000 reign of Christ ... and live among regular humans who are still marrying and having babies ... and dying. We'll be walking through walls and not marrying, while they're living like we do now. It's so odd.

When I was around 8years old, I had my first and only rapture dream. I had no idea what that was at that time, because i didnt even grow up learning about this teaching...I'm now 30 years old and this is my blessed hope!

Very well presented. I am Anglican (NOT Episcopalian), and I cannot see why ANYONE who believes scripture to be inspired can fail to believe in the rapture of the Church as separate from the return of Christ in Rev 19.

What about those who have died “In Christ” before the church age?

The rapture and the second coming of Christ are often confused. Sometimes it is difficult to determine whether a scripture verse is referring to the rapture or the second coming. However, in studying end-times Bible prophecy, it is very important to differentiate between the two. The rapture is when Jesus Christ returns to remove the church (all believers in Christ) from the earth. The rapture is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. Believers who have died will have their bodies resurrected and, along with believers who are still living, will meet the Lord in the air. This will all occur in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. The second coming is when Jesus returns to defeat the Antichrist, destroy evil, and establish His millennial kingdom. The second coming is described in Revelation 19:11-16. The important differences between the rapture and second coming are as follows: 1) At the rapture, believers meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At the second coming, believers return with the Lord to the earth (Revelation 19:14). 2) The second coming occurs after the great and terrible tribulation (Revelation chapters 6-19). The rapture occurs before the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10). 3) The rapture is the removal of believers from the earth as an act of deliverance (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 5:9). The second coming includes the removal of unbelievers as an act of judgment (Matthew 24:40-41). 4) The rapture will be secret and instant (1 Corinthians 15:50-54). The second coming will be visible to all (Revelation 1:7; Matthew 24:29-30). 5) The second coming of Christ will not occur until after certain other end-times events take place (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Matthew 24:15-30; Revelation chapters 6-18). The rapture is imminent; it could take place at any moment (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54). Why is it important to keep the rapture and the second coming distinct? 1) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, believers will have to go through the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10). 2) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, the return of Christ is not imminent-there are many things which must occur before He can return (Matthew 24:4-30). 3) In describing the tribulation period, Revelation chapters 6-19 nowhere mentions the church. During the tribulation-also called “the time of trouble for Jacob” (Jeremiah 30:7)-God will again turn His primary attention to Israel (Romans 11:17-31). The rapture and second coming are similar but separate events. Both involve Jesus returning. Both are end-times events. However, it is crucially important to recognize the differences. In summary, the rapture is the return of Christ in the clouds to remove all believers from the earth before the time of God’s wrath. The second coming is the return of Christ to the earth to bring the tribulation to an end and to defeat the Antichrist and his evil world empire. VERY good teaching brother woods. Awesome job! Posting the clear differences between the rapture and the Second Coming. There are so many differences yet the spiritually blind are very confused and want to argue. I believe that the dead will be resurrected, with glorified bodies, but those who are alive will be glorified and caught up alive.

How do you get invisible from 1 Thess 4:16 _For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first._ Where is the invisible part?

Sounds a lot like mat 24:31 You would be hard pressed to find the scripture basis that says the elect in view are anything other than Christians.

As a Spirit Filled Christian now I can tell all who disagree between Rapture & Second Coming is Jesus will only return in clouds when He returns4Beluevers, in Second Coming He will come w/His Angels to defeat AntiChrist & stand on the Mount of Olives!!

Thanks for this teaching series. Many churches do not teach about Rapture or the Book of Revelation because they are afraid to handle contradictory views.

If people don’t like the word rapture, let’s start calling it the seizure 🤣

imagine that when the rapture happens that All the graves were opened? that would be a horror surprise for those on earth, there was a time that that was the belief, but we know God does not have boundaries like that, that the body can be gathered and brought to the heavens without having to open graves, But imagine the horror on peoples faces and hearts if the ground ruptured forth and people were taken that way

emilee, That actually happened once. Right after Jesus's resurrection, people rose out their graves and walked through the community. (It's in one of the gospels but I don't recall which one.) I imagine people then were pretty shocked.🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🧍‍♂️👨‍🦯

Mat 27:52 KJV - 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, I don't care one way or another but this is scripture and the other thing I would say is when Jesus arose why was the stone rolled away from the tomb obviously it didn't have to be for him to be gone. God repeats himself what he does once he does again. All through the Old testament for example Noah and his family were in the ark before it rained and the earth was destroyed. Lightness family was led out of Sodom before it was destroyed. So I believe in a pre tribulation rapture I could go on. But I don't let any of this deter me or to argue with anybody about it because until it happens we don't know and it really don't matter does it praise the Lord I'll go whether he opens the grave or not I'll go whether I'm sleeping or not I'll go whether I'm sitting in church or not I don't know but I'm going to go 😁

Wouldn't there be a world wide panic after the rapture? I ask this because I would think that all children and the mental handicap would taken as well as the church, right? A lot of unbelievers would go crazy seeing their kids sudden disappear.

exactly then the governments will say they were taken by aliens which will cause the people on earth to think that the 2nd coming is aliens thats why they will fight against christ 2nd coming when it happens...

Twice I thought I heard you refer to the second advent as the rapture by mistake. I am profoundly Deaf since birth, so I hope I misheard it. It was at around 22:00, and by 30:15. It’s not like you can go back and fix it, so I feel bad even bringing it up. I’ve been following you for several years now and am blessed every time. Thank you
