The 6.2 sounds amazing. The second gen was better in every way except sound. I hated the sound in mine. Like a lawnmower, and inside the cabin didn’t sound awful until you realize it’s fake noise

@@RealNathanExplosionI have a 6.2 with just an intake and an exhaust, doesn’t touch a gen2 or raptor R for performance. But it does sound the best

Sounds quiet. I love the higher viewpoint. Paddle shifters to downshift is helpful.

It's called a supercharger.

It sounds like that because the engine noise is also being pumped in digitally through the speakers.

@@glennw2661Ford injects essentially engine noise ie intake and exhaust notes through the speakers. Quite a few other manufacturers do this.

That really doesn’t have anything to do with it. Even from the rear it doesn’t have a very aggressive exhaust note. You can hear the pure 5.0 exhaust note just fine in the cabin. But I will agree Ford is a better built truck.

Yeah and he’d make it sound like a clapped out farm truck. Dude thinks just because it’s loud it sounds good lol. Volume isn’t everything.

Sounds like the old 5.4 powered lightning with the Eaton blower but sounds great it just needs some real exhaust on it maybe some true duals with headers it's still going to be higher pitch being that it's the flat plane crank 5.2 just don't do an x-pipe that helps a little bit H pipe makes it a lower sound

LOL hell no it doesnt. I have been in both. TRX supercharger whine and exhaust note is so good, Ford is muted and much more tame and not as exciting in general.

Is that the Raptor with the hard R?

If it’s not a NA V8 isn’t it a turbo 6?

You can get it with the supercharged 5.2 out of the GT500 now.
