Saturday night palsy is a paresis involving radial nerve compression at the spirohumeral groove, causing weakness of wrist extension, NOT numbness of the hand or involvment of the ulnar nerve at the elbow. It occurs often in alcohol/drug intoxication with the armpit draped over a chair back.

Pretty unrelated, but does anyone know if there's a clear anatomy reason on why some people can't do the "spock" hand sign?
