live in Ohio,I had a in home childcare business for 38 yrs, I reared Drs. Lawyers, Teacher's Policeman I could go on and on,I retired in 2018 I was charging 125.00 a week,I had a beautiful daycare facility,I taught these children to read, write, etc my parents were all professional, wonderful people I just attended a Graduation for one of them,I've attended many get togethers over the years why are the paying that kind of money for childcare, almost all of my families had said over the years they wouldn't trade what they received from me opposed to the big facilities I never had one child hurt in 38 yrs,I'm very proud of the children I helped over the years as a matter of fact at the graduation the father said, Angie you gave these kids a wonderful start in life

I've got peace in my life, first because of Jesus and second, Dave Ramsey!
I listen to this daily while working (from the UK) I currently am debt free and working on paying my house off, I have almost doubled my monthly mortgage payment after realising my mortgage is the same as it was at the start after a remortgage
My physical therapist told me that he sees MANY times when the life insurance companies don't pay out when they should. I was shocked

Just want to say that I've been using every dollar now for about a year. Every time I pay off a credit card I cancel it immediately. I've canceled three cards and have two more to go. I'll have everything paid off except for our house and car but the end of this year. The car should be paid off by next April and then I start working on the house. The debt snowball works and I try to encourage others to do the same. I preach how bad debt is and how it will do nothing but keep you in debt forever. I know Dave says to get everything but the house paid off and then invest 15%. But I'm paying off the debt and at the same time I'm investing 24% in my 401k as well as a little into mutual funds each month. I'm 55 and I think it's best to do both at the same time.
I put off listening or watching Dave from opinions of others saying he’s out of date with his ways. Finding out now that’s far from the truth. Daves lessons are very much relevant in today’s times. God bless you Dave and your team and thank you for your help and support.

The issue is most people have the “I will do it myself mentality” but not skilled enough. Ideally, advisors are perfect reps for investing jobs and at first-hand experience, my portfolio has yielded over 330% since covid-outbreak to date, summing up nearly $1m.

Karen Lynne Chess is the licensed FA I use. Just google the name. You’d find necessary details to work with and set up an appointment. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.
Does Dave ever watch himself and the faces of his co stars? His teachings are incredible and life changing for people. Thank you Dave, for all you have done. Your not easy to watch anymore.
I can attest to new york life. The worst investment you can possibly make. They promise good returns but they take all your money. Absolute garbage

35:00 mark: I used to be a courier for Fedex.. I'd work 12+ hours a day, 6 days a week.. and I made $18 an hour. UPS definitely has a waaaaay better situation. It's almost criminal how we were treated at Fedex. Thankfully I was able to find an office job that pays way more and I do way less work.. I was literally getting up before the sun rose, to drive until it was pitch black at night.. didn't benefit me at all. In fact I made far less money, so my point here is that just working more hours at a horrible job is not really the answer. The answer would be hold off, hang in there while you try and find a better job.
Can we get an answer on how much someone needs to make to buy the average priced house in the USA house hold income ?

Whole life insurance policies with a living benefit definitely it can be used for cash flow and it can be used for infinite banking. It's worth looking up.

By 2026, Canadians who renew their mortgages that previously had variable-rate mortgages with fixed payments will see the largest increase compared to their previous mortgage's origination, expected to rise 61.85%. Payments are expected to increase by 31.88% among all types of mortgages by 2026

Yupp it sucks.
Another childcare option could be an au pair. If you have a spare room and don't mind someone being in your home its a very cost effective solution.
Good rule= Term insurance only
Ramsey is really good for people with debt issues. For anyone with money to invest he is not so much the lst person to ask, on the contrary. Whatever he suggests, do the opposite. (Insurance is a separate issue)

Canadian mortgages sound terrible. So everyone who bought in 2021 at 2.7% interest is about to reset to 7%? Sounds like a lot of foreclosures coming up.

Regarding the mom wanting to payoff her daughter’s student loans of 80K….don’t you agree the daughter should have a little “skin in the game”? She’s the one that chose to go to an expensive school out of state. Maybe the mom pays 70K and leaves 10K for the daughter to payoff. It’s just the principle of not creating a sense of entitlement for the daughter going forward in life and relying on mom’s money. Just my opinion.
