I swear this is absolutely true and factual: My Wife and I recently decided to each write our last will and testament. We did not share them with each other nor have we discussed the contents there of...we are only 35 and 40 but I travel almost constantly for work and my wife too has a risky job. I stated in an official legally binding, notorized document that should I pass away, that it would mean the world to me, on top of affording me an immense amount of peace and contentment, that upon the conclusion of my funeral that my kids or Wife MUST play the song Ram Ranch...I even included a flash drive as well as an original copy of the CD containing the song. If I know my family and friends as well as I believe I do, about half of them will be crying and struggling to breathe from laughing their asses off... while the other half will be either appalled, terribly confused or just plain angry... This will be my final gift to my loved ones...and they'll never see it coming 😅

@@worsel555 I have to admit until I saw this video I had no idea what the whole joke was. I can see a lot of people walking right into it and be pretty pissed. But I have to admit this whole story made me practically collapse a lung I was laughing so hard.

The funny part about them trying to go after the truckers with the song is that it's partially why it died out. Ram Ranch was supposed to be a purely shitposting thing, but then Grant himself made an explicitly political song and cheered on gunning after the truckers. Which wasn't a black and white issue, and the protests had a ton of support. In fact, people got so pissed that they dug into Grant and found out he was molesting his nephew since the kid was less than 17. Basically, because Grant wanted to ride the Current Thing wave, he got outed as a sexual predator.

Holy shit?? I didn't realize this still existed after the discord server got nuked. Ram Ranch brain rot is REAL and I'm so glad you finally covered it. I have a Pavlovian response to that damn intro. The last thing I remember before it getting nuked was Grant being exposed for making some later songs about Shawn, his nephew, and the cowboys being split because in Grant's state it was "legal," lol.

I live in Oregon - and my city literally has a ranch named Ram Ranch. I got my sister-in-law to drive past it once because I just wanted to see - and they used to have a sign with the name on it when we looked it up on Google... but they don't anymore. I wonder why they got rid of it.

Grant released, "Ram Ranch", his most accomplished song. I think it's his undisputed masterpiece. A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasure of showers and the importance of hygiene. It's also a personal statement about cowboys themselves. Hey, Paul!

i've always admired grant's dedication to the ram ranch cinematic universe, had no idea he's made over 1,200 of those things now holy shit.

Ram Ranch is one of those fads, internet or otherwise, where I ask myself "Did I ever actually know what this thing was, or did I just hear about it a lot?"

Ram Ranch was also popularly used to troll wafflepwn (greatest freakout ever kids) on their livestreams to get Stephen to freak out, and eventually was resulting in Mr. McDonald calling into the livestream and making peace with them.
