@@jay-editz7964 mystic timbers is awful. We rode the beast first and it scared the crap out of them. Then I convinced them to ride mystic timbers and it was a worse reaction from the kids. 😂

THE most impactful coaster in Kings Island's history, and the one that kicked off the second golden age of coasters which continues today.

I'm 73. I remember my first wife and I riding the Racer almost 50 years ago in our first ever trip to Kings Island. I remember it being very FAST and pretty smooth.

This was the roller coaster that got me over my fear, it made me realize how fun the first drop is and it is not as rough as everyone portrays it to be. I’m coming back this year and can’t wait to ride it again!

I havent been to kings island since probably about 1991, but I got to go on video version of the racer again. I am so glad kings island is still around

We went on Band Day, May, 1972. High School bands were invited before the opening for the genral public. We rode the Racer and the Log Flume . I got squashed on the Scrambler, soaked on the Flume and dizzy as all get out on the most wonderful roller coaster of all time, the RACER!

this was my favorite ride on my band trip too tbh, short but also short wait which meant around 3 rides in around 15 minutes, if only j discovered the ride earlier

I was scared to scream because I thought it would knock the wind out of me and I would not be able to breathe lol so I didn’t scream and I swear this ride is very bouncy

This roller coaster packs a punch, and it is from that 3rd camelback hill. Also congratulations Kings Island on your 50th anniversary, I'll be there in a few days and racer is the first one I'll go on

Got my best ride i've ever had on it today, red side. Insane floater.

I love so much.❤️❤️❤️ This is one of the best rides in my opinion 🙂

This is one fun ride. The lines are never as long for the racer as they are for the beast. You can ride the racer 7 or 8 times in a row while you may only ride the beast once in the same block of time.

I rode it yesterday and mystic timber’s is my new favorite ride

Adventure express is the only roller coaster I can barely tolerate because i don’t like roller coasters. I love the regular rides though

Classic. Wish it still went backwards tho.

Definitely one of the very first coaster I rode in my life I think I was 8 when my mom got me riding rollercoasters, can say it was a good start, I was scared as hell, especially before getting to the top right before the drop even though it's a short one haha.

I really hope they build a new ride for the 2024 season. I get out of the military in February and it will be my first time back since 2014. Banshee was the last ride I rode and it was amazing. Kings Island will always have a special place in my heart and I hope my kids will feel the same way when they're big enough to ride the big rides.

Kings Island needs WAY MORE SUBS BECAUSE I LOVE THE PLACE AND ITS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD 🌍❤️❤️❤️❤️

First time I had visited was last week bucket list scratch off we had no idea at all about this ride but as soon as we got to the top of the lift hill and saw the track my son yelled out an ohhh yeah and freaking woo'd like SpongeBob the entire time it was an immediate let's get back on again I have a huge smile watching this thanks

I remember when two trains raced on this ride. One went forward and one went backwards. Happy to this ride still going strong. 😃

This classic is a surprisingly fun night ride, especially in the back. If you can squeeze it in after catching a night ride on The Beast, I highly recommend it.

I rode this in the very back row with one of my friends. It was super rough but I had an awesome time.

In real life this coaster is a beast tbh

That is one of my top 10 favorite coasters

I rode it today. Although it was fun, the jerking and bumping hurts like heck. This coaster packs a punch!

I love this coaster

I went on this ride before and, OMG IT'S SO FUN! My favorite ride there. The first time I went I was 8 and I held my hands up the entire time! The first time I went n the 2nd cart (not train). Whenever they ask "how was that ride" I yell "OH MY GOD THAT WAS SO FUN LET'S GO ON AGAIN"... Except I don't. The next time I go on I will say that.

I'll still never understand why they got rid of the backwards Racer....

I love this Eilat coaster at kings island but my favorite is daimond back

I rode this today and it is kinda painful but fun I guess

So me and my friends got on this ride thinking that it was some kiddy ride. Needless to say we all found out real quickly that it was not indeed a kiddy ride.

I ride on this one with my sister ava in we both scream because I never been to king island lane did!

I am going to ride tomarrow

This ride gave me a major headache honestly

Needs split-screen with the blue train. Also, probably the roughest coaster there. This thing will beat you up.

They’ve retracked a good chunk of it.

Not a bad ride. By no means great, but a solid wooden coaster

Its just the last hill makes me fly and the tunnel is loud but besides that im good!

I’m still upset Carowinds tore down The Racer’s twin ThunderRoad. Which was my first coaster, big kid coaster.

The ride was better when one coaster went backwards, the other forwards.

I was at Kings Island when I was 1 year old and I'm 35 years old. I'll probably have to go to Kings Island one day I'm in Ohio I live in Ohio so I'm 4 hours from Kings Island I'm going to have to go one day. Cedar point I can always go to that that's like an hour and 40 minutes but Kings Island I can't always go because it's near Kentucky and I don't live near there at all

Red used to a few years ago

Good coaster but some cars are very shaky last time I was on it I got off with back pains and a bit of fear from a wasp. I am horribly afraid of them although I am a wimp. So don't take me to seriously.

Blue for the win.

The Racer and The Beast. Where do I begin? Perhaps The roughest, most jarring, and most unpleasant rides in the park. I’ve only rode each of them once, and will never again. I unfortunately have to conclude that these coasters, as legendary as they may be, certainly have not aged well. A great pity, as I was really looking forward to riding both and was thoroughly disappointed 😞

I'll have to try them again in dryer weather; the racer in the rain yesterday really sucked. It was incredibly rough. If they retracked it, I didn't notice.
