It's kind of crazy that Tonizza can play this and then swap back over to F1 esports and still compete despite being 2 completely different types of games and cars. I guess fast drivers will always be fast regardless but still.

I guess you can draw a similar comparison with Max Verstappen. He's in an F1 car and also at the top of iracing in a GT3 car. Hey, is James still the fastest gamer or does that belong to Max Verstappen? We need a showdown Jaaames!

I always thought this too. I know when I switch to F1 from ACC GT3 cars, it feels like a fast forward button was hit and it takes awhile to adjust lol. These guys just rag doll any race car and go fast

Yeah 100% David in any car on any game would be up there, amazing driver.

Well done, James. People laughed at me in 1986 (the Revs era) when I said simulated motorsport would be massive one day and that people would be able to compete against each other and that real racing drivers would be involved.

Every new James video is another reminder why I should never bother trying to be a race car driver. 🔥

To be honest, that you are able to be so patient while driving for the Championship, leaving gaps for other cars, not attacking every space even not defending your position is really great to see. People should look up to your Racecraft!

I love the McLaren. I definitely struggle to get the damper hiso not to be flat in motec. Finally messing more with tuning as I feel I've maxed out what I can do time wise with the base aggressive

Why are the liveries completely black for you in the game? Is that like a setting or a glitch lol cause I was so confused for 7 min

Because having everyone elses liveries whilst racing lowers FPS, don't get me wrong I'd love to enable them, but I need them frames!

James, can you give me advice on why/when you go TC 0? I understand that you're going TC 0 to prevent the TC kicking in to give you the best possible exit on corners. But why even turn it back on? Do you leave it on for corner entry to help with stabilization?

For the bulk of the corner you need the TC on, otherwise it would result in a spin. I only turn off TC once I have traction & I am exiting the corner. In the last update however they have removed the advantage of doing this, so I don't do it anymore.

He's playing on very low graphics settings to get maximum framerate during the race, but the top left is a replay where obv the graphics are turned back up

That's not a graphics issue. Those black cars had custom skin liveries.
