There is. Tie a fake seal at the end of a motor boat. It's worked before. Phelps will need to be in a mesh wire fence or have other deterrents

Come on people, you can't put a human and a shark side by side in the ocean, otherwise the shark would eat Michael and besides sharks don't normally swim in a straight line. I thought this was a unique idea and I appreciate the hard work put in by Discovery channel crew.

They could have put the shark and Phelps in a contain area, and have class in between Phelps and the shark, and the problem is not they didn't use a real shark, but they acted like it was going to be a real shark, right up until the race.

Lord Kief Michael said in an interview that he didn't race an actual shark so everyone already knew it. And the glass won't do any good because the shark still wouldn't swim in a straight line.

There's much more difference. The Great White Shark while hunting can reach a speed of almost 70 km/h

Bruh the fastest shark in the planet goes at about 46miles(72km)per hour while michael swam the fastest at 6miles(10km) it wouldn't even be anywhere close
