Very nice. I’d still be scared to put it on top of my cutting mat though! I managed to warp one of mine with the heat of a lamp. And I know I’d forget and rest my iron on it.

I have a wool mat that I take to retreats and classes, but you can't fold it up, so it sorta takes a lot of room in your bag even tho it's flat... It's just awkward to carry. Anyway, this mat would be wonderful for traveling. I like the idea of the silicone bottom too

Awesome tool, would most definitely be useful in my sewing/bedroom to eliminate the need for a whole ironing board that takes up to much space.
This would be so useful for classes and retreats! And I'm sure my husband would love it if my over-sized ironing board wasn't always set up in our dining room. ;)
Seriously? $40 for something that already exists and costs £5? Google 'ironing mat' and save yourself the money.
