I love the way musical ideas flow, one after another, and the music itself takes the listener through these ideas. The constantly repeating pedal note has a relaxing and hypnotic effect that transports you to a kind of dream. Congratulations.

The performance is really touching. I think this song beautifully expresses the quietness inside old thoughts. The delicate touch of the piano captures the lyrical atmosphere of the song well. The emotional interpretation of the performer adds to the depth of the song, and the emotion felt on each note deeply touches my heart. It's good to be able to feel the inner peace while escaping from the daily turmoil for a while through such music. Please continue to play great piano music like this!

This is possibly my favorite piece of yours; simply magical. The quietness and gentle repeated notes draw the listener in and don’t let go till the very last note. Wonderful pacing and playing. I was also very impressed your pages did not fly away, but then I saw the tacks :)

Thank you Bethany, I tried hard to keep this one simple. Was so close to adding in a few modulations / some more interesting harmony, but in the end opted to keep this one diatonic. I felt a bit of a fool trying to balance those pages in the tree, but it was a fun (and less time consuming!) alternative to editing together my normal sort of video.

It's so good that I don't want to miss even the smallest note❤

I absolutely love the way this was recorded! What paper did you print on? It really evokes the feeling of parchment (especially the way it's nailed into the wood). The way the camera pans back out is just lovely. :)

Thanks, Pjotr! Yes, it was on some special textured paper I had left over from something or other. Was fun to make a different kind of video for a change, and to get outside for a few minutes! Hope all's well with you.
