I prefer octane when it comes to product render. But once they added light linking, I can get the same result as Octane

I would say Posting your work and get a feedback and knowing which one to apply is like a short cut to become a great Artist. Even one of the greatest artist there in Artstation once a beginner so. I don’t think you should feel ashamed of your developing skills.

16 gb RAM will be enough. When it comes to the most important parts it will be, RAM,CPU and GPU. Your budget distribution needs to be like 40% on CPU and 60% on GPU. Like mouse, keyboard and other stuff,,, just buy the basics.
