[THE QUESTIONS] is a program by TURN that invites domestic and international artists to casually answer questions about their musical experiences and recommended venues.
In this 10th installment, Rachel and Nick from Slowdive, a UK alternative rock band that recently released a new album "everything is alive". are here to answer questions from TURN at the venue in Naeba, where the excitement was still fresh from their visit to Japan for FUJIROCK 23'.

I knew Nick when I was at school. He's a lovely person, it's great to see Slowdive do so well.
They come across as such good, real people. Wish them joy and peace.
I was in college during the early 90's. I loved music and knew many of the new or alternative groups of the time Cocteau Twins, Enya, New Order and on and on. Here I am in 2024, my 19 year old son talked to me about "Shoegaze" and now I have finally discovered Slowdive. I love their music, Kisses, Sugar for the Pill, When the Sun Hits, Slomo, Alison to name a few. Such amazing, chill songs.
This is a terrific interview with Nick and Rachel. They seem like such nice, cool people. They make beautiful music.
Really enjoyed watching this interview! Slowdive is one of the best bands to come out of the 90s and still one of the best bands today! Adore them! ♥️
Slowdive are great. Boris and Mono are good Japanese bands. Good guitars 👍

Please, Slowdive, get to know about the japanese band called Lamp! It's like they descended from heaven to enlight us with their music!
I listened to Pale Blue Eyes for the first time (Souvenirs). They are very good!
Fun Fact- Slowdive got there name from the song slowdive by Siouxsie And The Banshees.
