Thanks for the update. As you noted the lack of hand washing, and the car wash chemicals, it’s a tough job for a sealant. This customer would be a great candidate for a ceramic coating.

I’m trying to work her into one but she’s old school and her dad always told her to wax twice a year and she rarely wants to break out of that rut. I’ve been putting more durable products on each time seeing how they respond to being outdoors and not ideally maintained. My concern is the water spotting issue and I don’t want to put something on there that creates a bigger issue for her in the long term. The most I’d do is a 12 month coating I think

@@attention2detailswchelseaplease try NXTZEN 365 for a review. It’s 70$ a bottle but you can get 10-12 cars out of it. And it actually lasts over a year in harsh weather. You mix the activator in and then keep it in the freezer. Very easy to use(easier than a lot of detail sprays). In my opinion it’s the perfect all around coating. You apply it similar to the synergy in that you keep working it in but keep going until it’s starting to flash off then use another towel to final buff. I would love to see you do a review on that and their Elite self healing coating. I feel like a lot of people are missing out.

Chelsea I wanna say thank you. I watch all of your videos and I learned from you that I needed to use water spot remover on my ceramic coating. For the past year I truly believed that my coating failed only after 2 years and it's rated for 9 years. I am truly shocked by the way the water spot remover has 100% brought my coating and hydroponics completely back. It went from flat and slow moving water to all beading. I used diy details water spot remover. Thanks for your help and everything you do 🙏

I have been using Vonixx Synergy Paint on customer cars for the past eight months. It’s a terrific spray on wipe off paint sealant. I was using Griots 3-In-1 Ceramic Wax but the Vonixx Synergy lasts longer. After I wash, decontaminate and clay the vehicle I do a thorough wipe down with paint prep. Then I apply the Synergy Paint and let it cure for 24-hours before getting wet. The results are outstanding. Vonixx is making some excellent detailing products.

If you want to try something different, try mixing the Carpro Echo/ Reload mix but substitute Reload with P&S Defender.. The gloss and slickness are amazing, especially on a polished or coated car , you'll lose a bit of the hydrophobic's and it will sheet more but if you love out and out gloss you'll love it.
