That hood shot was on point!! I love seeing that! This is how real detailers work things out and learn to problem solve!
Thanks for the update. As you noted the lack of hand washing, and the car wash chemicals, it’s a tough job for a sealant. This customer would be a great candidate for a ceramic coating.

I’m trying to work her into one but she’s old school and her dad always told her to wax twice a year and she rarely wants to break out of that rut. I’ve been putting more durable products on each time seeing how they respond to being outdoors and not ideally maintained. My concern is the water spotting issue and I don’t want to put something on there that creates a bigger issue for her in the long term. The most I’d do is a 12 month coating I think

@@attention2detailswchelseaplease try NXTZEN 365 for a review. It’s 70$ a bottle but you can get 10-12 cars out of it. And it actually lasts over a year in harsh weather. You mix the activator in and then keep it in the freezer. Very easy to use(easier than a lot of detail sprays). In my opinion it’s the perfect all around coating. You apply it similar to the synergy in that you keep working it in but keep going until it’s starting to flash off then use another towel to final buff. I would love to see you do a review on that and their Elite self healing coating. I feel like a lot of people are missing out.
Chelsea I wanna say thank you. I watch all of your videos and I learned from you that I needed to use water spot remover on my ceramic coating. For the past year I truly believed that my coating failed only after 2 years and it's rated for 9 years. I am truly shocked by the way the water spot remover has 100% brought my coating and hydroponics completely back. It went from flat and slow moving water to all beading. I used diy details water spot remover. Thanks for your help and everything you do 🙏
I agree with you about this product. I put this on my mother’s Lincoln. I re-applied at 6months. It was still going strong and car is left outside. Impressive
I have been using Vonixx Synergy Paint on customer cars for the past eight months. It’s a terrific spray on wipe off paint sealant. I was using Griots 3-In-1 Ceramic Wax but the Vonixx Synergy lasts longer. After I wash, decontaminate and clay the vehicle I do a thorough wipe down with paint prep. Then I apply the Synergy Paint and let it cure for 24-hours before getting wet. The results are outstanding. Vonixx is making some excellent detailing products.
I do rinseless by DIY Detail twice a week. My base layer is Griots All in One Ceramic applied via machine. My topper after every rinseless is Turtle Wax No Streak Spray Wax. Great gloss, slickness and sacrificial water beading layer.
This car looks alot like the car on DIY DETAIL video i just watch about 2 hours ago!

One product that really got me to switch from these spray sealants is Can Coat. It's so easy to apply too. I'm interested in Adam's Graphene Spray Coating, but honestly Can Coat is hard to beat. Thanks for the video.

I have tried can coat and the adams grahpine spray sealant. They are both great honestly I used the Adam's on my dads car about 6 months ago. He hardly maintains it and I washed it the other day with kcx gental snow foam and it was beading up very well.

@@miscellaneous5215I'd say it's very close. My father doesn't use his car a ton and it's garage kept so could be a reason why it's held up so well. Yep I’m testing 23 International Spray Products & when they got weak, a water spot treatment brought them all back. Ten weeks in, they are all doing fine. Clogging is real. Thx!
If you want to try something different, try mixing the Carpro Echo/ Reload mix but substitute Reload with P&S Defender.. The gloss and slickness are amazing, especially on a polished or coated car , you'll lose a bit of the hydrophobic's and it will sheet more but if you love out and out gloss you'll love it.
Chelsea! I've had great results with this Sinergy Paint! Did a BMW M5 and 7 months in was holding up great.. weekly car washes down at our local hand wash place. Idk what they use but I was happy! Great video

Chelsea, Thanks for sharing another great video. There are always new products coming out with various claims so it's nice to see them in action especially on daily drivers that sit out. We all have one or two sitting outside.
Love this! It’s good to keep in mind to try this when things go flat on the paint. Thank You!!
Great video! The explanation about the bonded contaminants was perfect!
Not really short term, but Seal & Shine is the absolute best spray sealant 😃... Cheap and probably the most chemical resistant spray sealant on the market. Love your channel! Keep up the grind.🤘

IMO you need to shake the bottle regularly
I just took photos of my hood after the rain storm last night. It has the synergy and tec 582 on it. Haven't washed it in 2 months and still beads.
It’s probably a lot of the pollen. When pollen gets wet it is acidic and can clog the coating
Tec582 since I rinseless wash every week and mist on tec582 as a drying aid.
Looking forward to seeing this
I really like Vonix products. My favorite is Delet. I might be getting this one. The Mckees acid-free work worked excellent. Wow. I'm with you. I like tremendous hydrophobics. Freak out when it's not. Fun video. Thanks.
Chelsea water spot remover is legit. Mohs on my roof and hood was dead at one year. Used Maniac water spot remover and it was like day one all over. For my other vehicle I've really liked Ethos Resist. Says 12 months, but ti's so easy to apply I do it every 3-4. Have you considered something like the $15 No-Hype coating for her? Brad was a guest on JTC's podcast a couple of weeks ago. They're just smaller bottles of his Fat Beads and Graph-X coatings. $15 & $30.

Best Short Term? Not sure what that exactly is, but the Product I like to use that I can get a good 3 months out of and is SUPER easy to apply is Technicians Choice Graphene Detail Spray. Hands down best bang for the buck on the market. You apply this at least once a month on your car and its all you will ever really need. "In the Real World".

845 is great on silvers and lighter cars, in the Uk most top up afterwards with merzerna powerlock but in the states you have jescar ultralock plus which is similar to merzerna but on steroids. My question is, what will aid the longevity of an lsp, snow then contact wash (mostly with pH neutral shampoos) or rinseless (a less aggressive one)? Or is that a 'who the hell knows?'
@attention2detailswchelsea
Ай бұрын
I think either would work the key is not to let too much time lapse between a contact wash. The longer dirt and contaminants sit on the lsp the more time they have to accumulate making them harder to remove or allows them to weaken the protection based on their base or acidic nature .
