The Wood Brothers would release Kevin Grubb after he failed to qualify for the Daytona 500, signing Tony Walker as the replacement. Tony would go on to win 4 championships in his career, always keeping a #121 sticker on his car to honor the man who helped start his career. Christian Fittipaldi would continue to cause mystery cautions to the point where he was taken by the SCP foundation.

Holy shit Jeff Gordon is just a punching bag for everyone. He is just trying to drive and people ram into him at 190 mph for doing nothing.

one thing about NT04 is that each season the AI get tougher to match with your car upgrades. So S4 the ai will be much faster. Though with your custom setups you'll still be faster but not as OP as before. Maybe trying not using custom setups for S4 would be interesting. In my livestream series by season 4 i basically start last using a default setup and its pretty tough. The game will always be challenging on default setups which gives it infinite replayability

this game was and IS perfect . the best Nascar game in my book. Nascar 2005 Total team control was good too , but the only thing that Nascar thunder 04 was missing was the ability to start a second if not third car to you team. I just bought this game for my PC and i cannot wait to play it. i have not played this game since 2004 or 2005-ish. the memories with my friends playing this back then were awesome.

This was an amazing career mode. A lot of fun moments and an amazing season to end on for Phlip Withem and HJ Ballsport. Glad Fittipaldi did his thing until the end.

Aint no way this bad boy dropped just before my 4 hour drive I got to watch it and seeing him win martainsville and bristol without sending half the field to the infield care center was a experience

Have you considered a Nascar 2005: Chase for the Cup playthrough? I always found moving up from rookie driver to team owner fun in that game.

Its amazing how by 2004/2005, if youre smart in your equipment and shop investments, you can put an absolute whoopin on the field. I think I achieved 100 wins by 06 or 07 in one of my various playthroughs

If we got NASCAR Thunder 2004 on Gamecube (sadly it was cancelled) but you could make that #112 car for Tony Walker by modding the game. Thunder 2003 is looking badass in the future with the retextured cars. I use a mod on mine which gives me the #11, #14, #23, #44 and the #77 cup cars. Granted they are renamed and retextured fantasy drivers but it works.

Here we are and I can't wait to tally up how many one liners will be added to my lexicon once more.

I really enjoy these career series!

My first career playthrough when I was a kid, took like 12 seasons or something like that before I got my first win. I got it at Michigan.

From beginning to end, this was a great series to watch. Has me psyched for what comes next for this channel, from the random reviews coming soon, or even some similar series in other NASCAR games if you want to do that (such as a Fight to the Top in CFTC or Total Team Control).

i think nascar 06 would be a fun game to playthrough, though some contract offers corrupt your save file so you'd need to be really careful

Like the #9 Pennzoil Ford in the Busch Series I don't know why it does that on the actual consoles, emulators it doesn't do that which is odd.

I don't know how you never dnf lol. I've dnfed by just brushing the wall before. Although may or may not have had a few run-ins before that.

I found that there's a trick to it. If you're going to hit the front end, hit it on the left side. That somehow causes less damage to the car. The rear end is also very sensitive, but door to door contact is pretty much fair game. Basically, spend season 1 trying as hard as possible not to DNF, like how I ran the Martinsville high line just so cars wouldn't ram me. Once you get your equipment competitive, it's pretty easy to stay out of harm's way. Unless you get into Jeff Gordon rivalries.

I did when I done the entire career mode, granted I simmed like 6 seasons just to let the field have some wins and championships.

The only thing I don't like about the career mode is that it gets way too easy long before you have all or even most of the shop upgrades.

Was this recorded on an emulator and if so what settings? Despite every other game on PCSX2 running amazing at max graphics this game always chugs massively

This was emulated using PCSX2, I found that it only works well with version 1.6.0.

Is it possible to get all the pole positions and then next season for the bud shootout be the only car in it?

The game seems to just randomly select like 21 cars to make a field when you win that many poles.

I Have This Game. But I Always Found It Difficult To Do A Career Season. How Do I Set My Team Up So I Can Have A Winning Team Like What You Make But In A Chevrolet Of Course?

@@u1richh I use DS4Windows with a PS4 controller for all of my videos at this point. It doesn't give you analog control with L2 and R2 but it will work for the sticks.
