I was the OP (Blackmoor) and yeah, didn't occurred to me to just block with the 3/5 and get the creature back, definitely a punt on my part - perhaps not even that since I didn't thought it would work like that.

At 45:22 you would not scry! Fortune was cast from Villanous Wealth... opponent is the owner would get it back! Its a loyal steed indeed!

Man, just had steam start auto updating out of now where during my open attempt.. I was like, what the heck is going on, why is my computer sounding like a jet engine... It was pretty bad.

I wonder, why not bring in the return the favor against all those lawbringers? Is it just because double red?

I am curious if there has ever been a better DRAFT format? I realize this is opinion but I would like to know what others think

Kamigawa and MOM were both really good, I think Kamigawa was the best in the last couple of years. But this set is certainly up there as well. It's especially impactful quality wise when compared to MKM. MKM was in my opinion the same garbage tier as Capenna and All Bone.

Eldraine is my GOAT draft format. So many viable color combinations. MOM and NEO were both good like everyone else is saying, and I really liked Strixhaven too.

The greatest draft format in my memory was OG innistrad before dark ascension came out so it was three packs of innistrad. I miss when sets came out in blocks.

Arena has become an absolute joke. The more I watch you streamer’s, the more obvious it becomes that the average person (not having partnerships and so on) is just getting rapped up the ace on a daily basis. What you call variance is literally a 97/100 game occurrence for me. I play the same decks you play, and make the same winning plays, the only difference is that I have to mulligan down to 5 cards every single game unless I want to play a two land and never find another land, or have 4 lands of one color with 3 spells of the other and vice versa; and no I don’t draw another land until the OP is so far ahead that God himself couldn’t help me win. The amount of absolute stupidity in this online game has prompted me to start recording. I will become a streamer so that people can tell me how stupid I am for a year. Once they realize I am on to something it will all turn around. Hopefully we can sue these clowns for rigging the game, bc I would be everything I own on this crap being “rigged pig” as you like to call it on an off day. There’s no doubt in my mind at all. The nonsense I have seen this game do to keep me from winning is astronomical odds to say the least. Add all of that with the fact of frequency and I hope to have myself a rock solid case vs WOTC.

it really sucks man. anyone who has played for a long time especially in paper and arena and compared them side by side can see that its not 100% random. it would be one thing if it was subtle but youre right the amount of extremely unlikely things happening at a much higher rate consistently for years makes it pretty obvious. dont let the shills get to you.
