(3 Dec 1956) Preceded by a Piper and two of the Queen's Gurkha Orderly Officers, Her Majesty arrived at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea for the Army's Tercentenary Dinner. She was escorted by Mr Hare, Secretary for War. The dinner was to celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the Formation of a Standing Army.
