How she was in a really bad place in her life due to many different issues, including her husband passing away and that Ryan reaching out to her and this song helped pull her out of the darkness she was in. I don't remember every detail but it was an absolutely beautiful story between Ryan Reynolds and Celine Dion.

There was a clear remit given for this song, because when you see the opening credits to deadpool 2 it’s parodying James Bond openings… this is a tremendously powerful song in the mould of a bond theme, and in fact better than any bond song I’ve heard in my opinion. And the theme of beauty coming out of ashes has a very deadpool feel. Wonderful song

This song did not need to be a song for a movie but the way that Ryan Reynolds helped Celine Dion come back from the tragedies that she was going through and the theme of the movie really made this song stick. I've been a fan of hers since Beauty and the Beast when that song and movie came out.
