That's the best part 😂😂 Don't bother her, it's not her fault, it's not her fault. You're beautiful and you're young, you deserve the best in life, but you didn't deserve- I DON'T SAY SHE'S NOT BEAUTIFUL I'M SAYING SHE WASN'T LOOKING BEAUTIFUL TONIGHT, SHE DOESN'T EQUAL ME, LOOK AT HER MAKEUP! IT'S TERRIBLE!

I must say, despite a lot of iconic quotes she said that night, the one which stood the most in my book was “you deserve to have the best in life, but you didn’t deserve to win” Based on that sentence you could see that she was a genuine and kind person and that she was clearly vocal on obvious injustices.

Periodt also to add, the fact the actually calmed her tone when speaking to her and outright said “it’s not her fault” and “don’t crowd around her” shows that she wasn’t angry with her but the system

I cannot thank Aja enough for reintroducing this legend to the world. This is the most iconic thing I've ever seen, Crystal is in the documentary for literally 5 minutes and she owns the entire thing. So quotable, a true superstar. She is NOT beautiful, she has NO qualifications and she is body LESS!

This is the best "reading" that I have ever heard from any drag queen.... Crystal tore Harlow and Sabrina down to nothing. When she said "bodyless" I was done. Crystal was absolutely beautiful and was robbed. I am so glad she went on to create the "House of Labeija" and put the spotlight on the ball circuit for Black and Latino Queens.

Gabriel Henrique dos Reis Silva It was a joke, but let me clarify something for a second. Drag Race is more than “just a reality show.” What else is putting drag into the social mainstream and giving it exposure all over the globe like drag race? There are fans outside of the US that literally watch it illegally and still come out to see the queens when they come to their hometowns. You have queens now getting employed by multi million dollar companies like companies like Vogue, Cosmo, Marc Jacobs, Billboard and Google because of their time in the show. Most importantly you now have young drag race fans that are inspired to look up things like this video and try to fully understand the past of drag. This video is a piece of history; of course, but don’t devalue drag race as if it isn’t helping queens make much better livings and make people all over the world happy.

People talking about how Crystal was being a sore loser and a bully, but, Her legacy still lives on as a legendary fierce queen. Crystal lost the ball, but won the legacy. The only reason people remember Harlow is for being on the ass-end of a fierce read after winning some little title.

Crystal wasn't a sore loser. She had a legitimate reason for complaining. There is no way that Harlow should have won. Yes, Harlow was a pretty young thing, but she looked like an effeminate pretty boy with a wig and dress, while, Crystal looked like a full-fledged cis female. How under those circumstances did Harlow win? So, no, she wasn't being a sore loser, because she should have won the contest or at least had a higher standing than Harlow. Being a sore loser implies that someone who is less qualified complains when someone who is more qualified wins. That said, Crystal is the HIGHLIGHT of the documentary and while I commend the creater of "The Queen" for documenting for the first time a drag contest, its a shame that he didn't spend more time filming Crystal. Let me note that inadvertently the film documents the first reading session that has ever been filmed.

Crystal may have overreacted a bit, but what she said is valid even today. You have to remember that this was right after Civil Rights and Black people in general were still suffering racism big time. Sabrina handled it well, but from what I saw Harlow's look was way off. I think Crystal should have won this one. Harlow seemed immature with her pouting and drama. I think the Warhol excuse was a bad one. I am sure they moved on from it. I wish there was a follow-up done.

"You're beautiful and you're young - you deserve to have the best in life, but you didn't deserve this". She defended Harlow but whether or not the competition was fixed by Sabrina, she was talking about the bigger issue. I think Sabrina, Crystal, Venus, Marsha P and Sylvia, Chrysis and many others look down on us in unity and praise as we have marched into the 21st century as one community. We still have a long road to walk but we have marriage equality, HIV/AIDS is not the death sentence it was, employment discrimination protection, and gay adoption. Now let's pass the Equality Act and grantee that life, liberty, and property is denied us no longer! Gay Power!

Ms. Crystal is in the opening credits of the show on Amazon called Transparent. The clip/video seems to be taken from this outburst from Crystal. it seems many of these ladies from the balls and pageants wanted to be famous. Ms. Crystal is forever stamped in Hollywood. Her face is on the opening of a successful television show. I don.t think any of the queens from her day have accomplished that. I just happened to see this video years ago and never forget her. It.s one of the best things I have seen. What she did and said was so bold, rude and hilarious. I loved it.:-)
