Perceiving what needs to be cured is a simple concept but in daily life it takes a tremendous amount of knowledge, insight, and power of the subconscious to connect to the subconscious aspects of the patient in order for the deeper information to become available and a real dialogue to take place. At this point the conscious mind is just an observer of the real information that is being revealed from the subconscious mind. The healer can meditate on this process and begin to find a way to ask the patient for permission to connect at this level. At this level is the cause and the real story of the patient. George taught me all of this, ❤

Blessed to have you Sir❤ Physician needs the 'subtle , refined sensitivity' to perceive the exact similimum and one is gifted with such kind of sensitivity when he /she starts vibrating on the 'surrender' mode ❤🙏

The quality of what you know about remedies in the MM is very important. Sometimes the subjective 'information' of the remedy can truly open up the case. Sometimes it can be just one keynote. I have a case of a cat that has coughing. This coughing, as observed was like the saliva went 'the wrong way' past the larynx, a sort of choking which caused a coughing fit of about 1-2 minutes. After that a lot of swallowing for about a minute and then he was fine. I searched everywhere for this specific symptom but I could not find it. Until I queried the allen materia medica, which you all probably know is deriverd from Hering's MM. And there it was, exactly as I saw in this patient. I started to read up on the remedy and I was perplexed at how much similarity there was between it and the patient. I gave the remedy in 1M and an immediate improvement followed. 10 days later the coughing had returned, only much less often than initially observed. I repeated the remedy in the same potency and the improvement was again observed. This time it held for longer, so I wait.

So true. Sometimes I think that a new homeopath who is just starting out with his or her practice might fall into the trap of over-prescribing "just in case." In other words, it's a problem of insecurity. That's why Dr. Vithoulkas is so right when he mentions the need for a good education in this field and, of course, repeated doses of old-fashioned empathy! P.S. I am writing from a patient's point of view.

Omg so true! Sometimes the homeopathy is so in love with their own process they loose complete connection to the patient resulting in the wrong remedy prescribed. Such lack of sensitivity is alarming!

@Fitzy22 This is the wrong way to go about it. Take the words of Dr Vithoulkas at heart, learn from them and keep them in mind while practicing your vocation. But whatever you do, don't attack your peers. It will eventually only destroy. We all have our roads, our way of getting where we would like to be. Be the best practician for your patients, try to ease their suffering. Don't give in to the demon on your shoulder.
