This is the original Q-Tips recording of Love Hurts. After Paul Young became famous it was messed with, and all the other band members were erased and replaced with synths & drum machines to try and cash in on the success of No Parlez.

I love this song. I 'm French and i didn't know the Q-tips before the 1st album of PAUL YOUNG "NO PARLEZ " I heard this song for the 1st time on a radio , i think in 1983 or 1984. This song always gives me shivers. 👏👏👏👍👍👍😉😉😉

His recordings really got messed with - particularly with the Symmons drums. Great to hear this in its original format.

Youngs vocals are unquestionably great, but picking this song feels like a misstep as Dan McCafferty in Nazareth simply sang his heart out on their release of the song.
