Good video, thank you. Some additional tips. As you have seen, the dough wants to rise in the oven. 1/3 of the top part of your pan should be empty before placing the pan in the oven. Use baking paper inside your pan. Cut it to fit. Then you can reuse it many many times without having to grease your pan, and only have to wash your pan every 10 bakes. Have fun baking

I loved this video, boo boos and all. We’ve all been there 😂 The 9x4x4 is a 1.5 lbs pan . . .meaning 24 oz., (680.3 grams) is the maximum amount of dough you can put in the pan. When using greased metal pans for bread, I’ve found it helps to remove the bread after 7-10 minutes. Letting it cool longer than that, causes it to stick 🥰

This video is a year old, so you probably know this by now: it’s a big no-no to cut into a hot loaf; the bread is going through its firming up stage, and cutting it will cause it to dry out, and not have a good crumb. In some cases it will make the crumb feel gummy. So if anyone asks you to cut a slice, you offer to cut them. You can prevent sticking by using a little bit of Crisco (original, not butter flavored); my bread pans are older than I am, and I take a piece of paper towel, and wipe the pan with Crisco. You can also put it on your hands to keep sticky dough from sticking, especially when making rolls; though you have to occasionally reapply it.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Your bit of trouble getting the loaf out of the pan reminded me of a similar incident. For some reason, I find olive oil isn't as good as butter or Becel for greasing the pans. I never have trouble with the other two, but sometimes olive oil just doesn't release as effectively. This is the second pullman loaf pan video I've seen within a week. Amy (Learns to Cook) did one, too, but I forget which mixer she used (she has about 50 of them.) Thanks!
