The Psychology of the Color Red
If you need something to get noticed, make it big. Can’t make it big? Make it red.
Passion, defiance, courage, and even excitement - from Target and Coca-Cola, to Kraft and KFC, brands use red to not only get noticed, but to create connections with consumers based on what we commonly associate with the color.
This talk is part of a series presented by our Designer John Adie to the internal team at Digital Surgeons about how our brains perceive colors.

Thank you! I was pondering to myself and I thought, there has to be an area of study dedicated to how we perceive, use and subjectively feel with colors. Red tends to be my favorite so I wanted to know the “why”, this was great, thank you again.
By the way,my most favourite colour is red.I can't replace this colour to other colours.Red is a power to me:)

I made my personal brand with the knowledge of the psychology of color. This led me to make the decision to go with red.
I was hoping you can go deeper . For example the effect of red lights in traffic . It can subdue anyone despite their social status , wealth ..etc . Half way you ve shown the science behind colour red not the psychology.
