Thank you. The Ant Farm was reflected in the (temporary) architecture of the British festival and rave music scene e.g. Glastonbury festival and warehouse dance parties. Being there is liberating. Yurt (tents) have a similar vibe.

00:04 🌿 Ant Farm, an experimental architecture collective, emerged in the late 1960s and early 70s during the psychedelic movement. 01:17 🏗 Ant Farm's approach to architecture was unconventional; they generated their own ideas and sought clients and funding afterward. 02:41 🏢 Ant Farm rebelled against traditional architecture and consumer culture, using satire and creativity to critique the mainstream. 03:33 🚗 In 1967, Ant Farm kidnapped Buckminster Fuller and took him to see the Dymaxion car, fostering their unconventional approach. 04:55 💨 Ant Farm created inflatable structures called inflatables, showcasing their opposition to brutalist architecture. 05:39 🏞 They aimed to create nomadic architecture, easily transportable or floating cities, aligning with Buckminster Fuller's ideas. 06:20 🏠 Ant Farm completed architectural projects like the House of the Century, shaped like a giant penis, designed for a feminist patron. 07:18 🚗 Cadillac Ranch, created by Ant Farm in 1974, is a famous psychedelic art installation along Route 66. 08:15 📺 In 1975, Ant Farm challenged mass media by staging the media burn event and the JFK assassination to question the power of images. 11:29 🎭 Ant Farm emphasized that an art object gains significance through performance and media documentation, emphasizing the need for cultural relevance. 12:23 📹 Ant Farm's influence can be seen in contemporary creators like Tom Sachs and the Neistat brothers, who continue their experimental spirit. 13:17 🕹 Ant Farm's legacy encourages architects and designers to focus on the experience, experiment, and use their work as a counter-cultural movement.

Would be interested in a meetup between Antfarm and Foster Wallace to create something mocking the media and entertainment industry

You lose all credibility when you cannot even pronounce the names of people and things you attempt to impart information about. A big stumbling block that makes everything else you subsequently say hard to take seriously.
