    I had a blast at Toho last month. Caught 8 large mouth. The smallest was like 3.5lb. Also caught a 4ft Gar. I think we lost 3 or 4. There isn't really a setup they haven't seen LOL. And if you fish along the tall grass or reeds, they'll break you off slick as a whistle. Those fish are smart in that lake. We were only out for a couple of hours. The weather pretty much sucked the whole time we were down there.

    I didn’t know any better when I got chatterbaits and fished it like a JIG & Pig and they pick it up just like anything else that’s a Jig. But also, when you reel it in, they bite it also due to the vibration and the cat and mouse chase thing called instinctual striking.

    You dog you. Great video. Living here in south central Florida on Crooked Lake(which you have fished) I know about the hydrilla and how to work a worm through it. I have done the same thing as you did and really caught them. Keep it up. Really enjoyed this video.

    They are spraying that chain and the Harris chain continuously. Some times they have helicopters out there spraying. Had them spray over me and my son. I called FWC but they did nothing.

    Mechanical harvest is a SO much better option but FWC is too lazy to invest in a system that will actually protect the ecosystem long term ...

    @@theultimatesteelshooter8610 the little Florida lake I fish the most has a minimum of 4 harvesters, maybe more plus the spray everyday as well. Find a patch of pads holding bass and next day it’s gone. But yes, much better than spraying

    You ever see that 9year old video of Bill Dance “worming” a chatterbait on a spinning rod in grass. It’s how it was meant to be fished . I get big bites when I do this in early spring.. good video

    Junebug Magnum Finesse worm on a ¼oz Spot Remover head is bad medicine on big nighttime spotted bass. My color preference at night goes like this: 1)junebug 2)black 3)redbug. At night, I like to fish it on straight braid, to feel everything.

    Dude I really enjoy watching your videos, I've gotta say I'm jealous watching you catch fish on chatter baits I've got a Plano 3700 full of them in different colors and sizes but I've never caught a bass on any of them!!

    @@davidharris4030 seriously I've been on my boat a watched bass just look at my chatterbait come by them and them not react to it, and put that rod down and pick up a spinner bait the same color with the same trailer on it and make the same cast with the same retrieve and have bass inhale it

    @@jerimydeloach1556 I am 60 years old and my home lake is Chickamauga. I can tell you I have caught fish on both spinner baits and chatter baits. If you have watched professional tournaments a lot like I have. I promise you there’s many many pros throwing the chatter bait! It is a killer bait! Good luck dude!!

    that's what it kind of felt like - i think that's why i like fishing offshore hydrilla and eel grass like this it's sort of something i'm really comfortable with.

    Good stuff Mikey. I have a brother in law in Florida fishing from the bank and, I'm trying to help him out. He's new to fishing. His lake has grass so, I have set him up with a watermelon red flake Zoom Super Fluke and some green pumpkin Yum Dingers. Thanks for the tip on the Fat Ace in JB Blue color, I'm going to send him that one to try. BTW, 3/0, 4/0 or 5/0 hook on that 6" bait? Thanks.

    Pretty cool of you to hook him up like that! I'm running a 4/0 old school o shaughnessy style hook on that fat ace. if you're fishing around more emergent stuff like pads and cane i'd look at a wide gap.

    mid 60's. not sure if i'm going to make it to harris - my buddy chris that owns 44 tackle where i stay at is going to be gone fishing a BASS open so i might head up to Gainesville and try to catch a trophy fish on Orange Lake

    My home lake is Chickamauga and they spray our grass from time to time. It totally ruins areas that once were killer. It takes forever for those areas to come back. It sucks! For about 3-4 years I had this grass flat that was the “ JUICE “ and of course they spray and F__k it up!

    Same on the LA delta. Just look at lake cataouche where kvd set the 3 day record for classic. It's completely gone and that lake is dead.

    @@jaijason8150 it’s insanity , I honestly feel like they are trying to ruin these lakes on purpose . Killing the grass does nothing of value . It makes the lakes murky , increasing temp and killing off all the game fish .

    Anglers should never go anywhere without an assortment of stick baits in natural and proven colors like the two you showed today. I’m pretty sure they will work almost anywhere in the world for tons of different species. The simplest, most enticing and effective design, possibly ever.

    Man send the first 45 seconds of this to FWC cause duck hunters have been complaining about the spraying for years and how it’s ruining the environment and whole ecosystem. You can’t play God with Mother Nature. FWC thinks the bass fishermen like the spraying. As a 26 year native it’s depressing to see the state being killed.

    So apparently too much grass will kill the lake and deprive it of oxygen! According to a marine biologist. Killing the grass doesn’t kill the bass- just a messenger

    It doesn't kill the bass - it kills their habitat. Mechanical harvesting is a WAY better option since it doesn't kill the grass which then decomposes and depletes oxygen levels to say nothing of the chemicals put in the water by spraying. It's the typical lazy govt solution ...

    Listen to Shan o gram… aquatic biologist he’s on here… too much grass covers the surface area of the lake and at night the grass doesn’t produce oxygen but still uses it choking out the lake. Once again not my words
