​​​@@Solooshin Spectacular Venom is the best adaptation of the character we've ever really gotten, 94 animated Venom is great and accurate, but the Spectacular version really nails the _sheer hatred_ the character initially has for Peter, truly fucking with his life wherever and whenever he can. Part of that includes parodying Spidey's sense of humor, implicitly mocking him, hence the goofiness. The Venom plotline was actually left on a cliffhanger when the series got canceled, so there was definitely room for them to continue into the Carnage arc and from there get us a proper Lethal Protector adaptation. Truly wish we someday get an X-Men 97 type of continuation, the show had _so much_ untapped potential.

Venom's motivation makes sense. Harry was a dying man who wanted to heal the world, and the symbiote offered him a twisted version of that dream through turning others into symbiote infected zombies. The game made Venom more than just a stalker out to kill Spider-Man. Venom was actually a threat to the safety of not only New York City but the entire planet. And his relations with Peter (being that Harry is his best friend) as well his motivations makes Venom a very sympathetic character. Venom doesn't want to take over the world for no reason, Harry wants to help people with the same suffering as him, but the symbiote gives him the twisted version of what he wants. Venom was great but needed more screentime.

Ok but that still sucks, especially when compared to the source material. It's a bland motive, and it only works when the character is interesting, and his reasons for wanting world domination are interesting, but that sure as shit ain't the case. Also Harry's development into a villain sucked, it was very rushed and convoluted, and he wasn't even in control as venom, he was just giving the symbiote a body, so that whole "twisted version of healing the world" is pointless, because Harry isn't even on the same page as the symbiote according to the final boss fight.

Finally! Someone who I completely agree that Venom isn’t bad, but he wasn’t great.

My only real complaint with spiderman 2 is how rushed the venom stuff was. We spent so much time getting there just to have the MAIN villain go by so quickly. Personally I think they should have made a parallel story once we had venom shown on screen. One where he hunts craven and his hunters leading up to tye final fight between venom and kraven.

I believe ``Heal the world`` came from how the suit affected both Peter and Harry. Harry-> It took his desease away Peter -> It made him stronger and to be capable enough to do everything on his own So venom saw this as an opportinuty to make a home on this planet and also to use its power to make everyone happy about it

Love this video. I definitely agree that the 3rd act was rushed. Personally I thought it was done well but it definitely could’ve been done better. Especially with how kraven died and the game practically forgot about this huge villan that took up 2/3rds of the game.

Venom's motivation makes sense if you think about it. First harry wants to help heal the planet with the emf and he had the symbiote, after peter rejected the suit venom was fully pepared to kill spiderman until he fully bonded with harry and his personality kicked in, harry finally being healed heard venom say that he took him from sick to healed, so if more people had symbiotes there would be no disease leading to the symbiote invasion and as we seen it takes only a small part of venom to create new symbiotes, combined with the metorite the whole world would be symbiotes.

Except it was executed poorly. There was really no explanation into his motive prior to him becoming Venom, so it doesn't feel authentic. Personally i think what would have made the story better is If it turns out Norman was secretly selling the breakthroughs that they made at EMF to the highest bidder for profit because there wasn't any money to be made it helping people. Harry finds out and it's outraged with Norman, which adds strain to their relationship. Then, when the place is blown up, Harry is hit with a double edged sword because EMF goes up in smoke, but it wasn't real to begin with. All this combined with Peter not giving the suit back and adding some character flaws to Harry could have made for a decent Venom. He wants to heal the world HIS way and screw everyone else.

I think venom turning people into symbiotes in the game is something carnage does do in the comics and I think why venom has no personality in the game is because the symbiote does what it’s host desires in a twisted way

No the symbiote kinda wishes to help his hostin general and help him reach his goals as long as he doesnt dump him, even though he along the way just keeps twisting it and it turns out like it did Venom turning everyone into symbiotes might stem off of harrys extreme need for him, since it made him better and completely nullified his sickness then it could make other people better and heal the world, hence why they go after the meteor to spread himself and heal the world

The concept of "heal the world" was originally created by Harry's mom in reference to making the world a better place through Harry and Peter's combined scientific efforts. Its shown that the way the symbiote bonds with and influences its host is by twisting their deepest motivations and desires. "Heal the world" was Harry's desire. Insomniac seems to have combined the venom origin with the king in black comic storyline. In the king in black story it is possible for people to be turned into symbiotes.

My take on Venoms goal is that it adopts whatever its host wants but twists it into something bad either on purpose or because it it genuinely doesn’t understand Harry wants to heal the world and make it better….Symbiotes take on that is to attach everyone to a symbiote so they can never get sick from disease but also brainwash everyone so they can’t think for themselves so can’t do any harm to the planet or each other Peter wants to save everyone and be a better spider spider,……so obviously the solution is kill all his adversaries so they can’t get out and bother him again….and then isolate him from his friends because they are holding him back from their true potential All filtered through this posessive “I love you…..I am doing it all for you….

If we get a venom game, I can totally see that game developing Venom's personality properly

Venom should have hated Miles, not Peter. Because: "You took HIM from us!", is a motive Harry and the Suit could have shared--if Miles and Harry had talked to each other for more than two seconds. This would also have been a great bit of Peter having to deal with the consequences of choosing to wear the Black Suit. But again, it would have had to require Miles and Harry to interact for more than five seconds.

Alright, so this is my opinion. Pros: 1. Venom's design in the game looks super cool and scary. 2. Insomniac's portrayal of Venom seems complex and nuanced, so it will probably make the game more interesting. 3. The boss battles with Venom should be really intense and fun. 4. Venom being a scary and menacing villain is going to make the game a lot more exciting. 5. Insomniac's take on Venom is pretty original and refreshing, even if it's not super accurate to the comics. Cons: 1. Some people might not like that the game's version of Venom is different from the comics. 2. The game's story might feel rushed at the end, especially with Venom suddenly trying to take over the world using Harry. 3. The game might not give Venom enough time to have character development or depth. 4. Venom's desire to take over the world might be kinda cliche or over used. 5. The game might be a bit short, and it might not give players enough time to really get to know or understand Venom as a character.

I might be just misremembering this but iirc Spider-Man 2 was supposed to have a longer story but they literally got told by Sony that they had to cut down the story because of reasons

Despite the lack of screen time and lack personality, I still love this more than Tom hardy because he’s more threatening here than he was in venom 2, he was a little too goofy for my taste. Also I think it makes more sense why Harry needed the symbiote than a guy from bugle called Eddie Brock.

I think "Heal the World" was just referring to taking over the world with a cute little twist with the goal of EMF.

My biggest issue with insomniacs venom is just that he seemed more animalistic and didn’t have as much personality as other venoms but everything else is perfect imo because who said Eddie can’t come in and take the suit? Even if the suit is gone, it’s not really new to say venom was destroyed and him come back So Eddie can come in for a smaller role and probably have something to do as venom even if it’s small or just like a side mission

So heres the thing. Before the King in Black, there was another event wherein the venom symbiote tried to take over the world. The Planet Venom event happened when Peter talked Eddie Brock into abandoning Venom, and the symbiote was so powerfully grief-stricken that it accidentally called an army of symbiotes to invade earth. I'm pretty sure this event even predates the Web of Shadows videogame, and I'm very very sure that event predates Carnage USA by a wide margin. The symbiote has always been a powerfully empathic entity, and a lot of Venom stories arent just about the symbiote or it's host, but how they influence each other. Mac Gargan, Lee Price, Flash Thompson, Eddie Brock, and even Peter all brought something to how the symbiote learned and grows in a world where they can only meaningfully engage through a proxy, with a partner. The reason a lot of comics have an advantage over most other mediums in this sense is that we can hear the internal monologue of Venom, and how it reconciles the thoughts of both Host and Partner at any given time. The only times we really get a look at what the symbiote thinks in this game are when it offers to Peter the idea of "kill kraven," or when it gasses up Peter to "tear him apart," or when it asserts that Miles is "always in the way," or most significantly, when it tries to communicate with Harry that they finally have the power to realize his mother's dream, to "heal the world." The symbiote is a character in this game, and it has motivations, but those motivations are informed, shaped even, by the impulses and desires of its host. Fundamentally, as is the case with a lot of classic Venom, the symbiote just wants to help, and doesnt understand how best to do that beyond a fairly narrow (albeit potent) set of skills.

Personally, I felt like Venom had his free will ripped from him when he touched the rock that he came with. It was Knull's symbol iirc and the introduction of a symbiote hivemind tells me that a bigger bad was manipulating Venom just as much as Venom was manipulating Harry.

@@CrimsonFire01 Well, the moment after Venom touches the rock he regains his memories of the crash, and immediately after he becomes the Symbiote Suit rather than the basic Black Suit: Peter also begins to be hesitant of getting rid of the suit afterwards and for the first time he refers to himself as "us". He also begins to justify this with "it makes me a better Spider-Man" I think the green liquid in with Harry and Venom might have been a substance to subdue the connection with Knull and perhaps make the symbiote forget what it's original purpose was to make it work as an experimental treatment for Harry.

7:16 yes, but also no. It is implied that these are Venom's children, which does happen in the comics. However, It is never (to my knowledge) to this degree. It is poorly explained in game and I think you made a lot of very good points. I personally really like this Venom, but I see where you're coming from and fully agree with the flaws.

You should do a video on the Peter/Miles relationship. I feel like they nailed some of it and fumbled other parts and I rarely see it discussed

Actually I think I got an idea I agree that this venom is so fucking bland, 100 percent agree that they did his character dirty But hearing you discuss all the story in such a quick succinct manner, I'm realizing just how different this symbiote was suposed to feel in execution compared to more classic Interpretations It's clear to me now this symbiote doesn't have a distinct personality of its own, that it's way more influenced by the emotions of the host. So if we go in order of the hosts, we see how venom changes its goals depending on it's host's current inner climate: Harry has been trapped in a tank for god know how long, probably felt like an eternity for him. The moment he gets out, he wants to live. He wants to make a difference, make up for lost time. This is what leads to his Agent venom role. Cause Harry sees Peter as Spidey, genuinely wants to be of help as well, and so his current desire within is to be a hero on par with his best friend Peter, and the symbiote obliged Next, Peter. He had just died. He died likely filled with the murky half formed thoughts of his friends dying next. The fear of fading, not being able to help or save the one's he loves. The incredible weight of what he needs to be. That's whats immediately going on within him when he bonds with the symbiote. And so, immediately, his connection with Venom is way more monstrous, filled with desire for power to save the people he cares about, but from a place of regret, self defeating thoughts of powerlessness and failure, as well as absolute rage towards Kraven for killing him and trying to hurt/kill his family. When the symbiote transitions over from Peter to Harry once again, the situation is a bit different. It had a good thing going with Peter, but Peter was the one who rejected it. This is why it went to Harry. It wanted to be wanted. Someone was readily giving their hand out. It felt peeved, betrayed, just like Harry, which could play into its opposition to Peter, but what we see is how much it's influenced by Harry's state of being. Harry has been continually ignored, and left hanging while literally dying, and Peter's off fighting and getting more and more rageful. When Harry gets the symbiote again, that rage we've seen building up over the course of the game manifests itself into the massive monster we see. But that's not Venom, that's all Harry. That's what he feels inside, rage, betrayal, horror and ambition. Venom/Harry's entire goal is to help heal the world. He wanted to do this with Peter. Help save lives WITH Peter. But not only did he start dying again, all Peter has done is steal his "life" and continously destory everything Harry had tried so hard to build. So Harry decided it was up to him to see his goals through, and since the symbiote nullifies all illness, what could be a better antidote? Peter couldn't just shut off the symbiote. It proved incredibly effective and digging into Peter's deepest anger. It did the same for Harry. Twisted Harry's desire into something alien and powered by Harry's anger. I dont think Insomniac understands the venom we love and know, but their venom did have a rule set

I think the aliens just talk like the hosts and pretend to be them to trick others.

Something people always miss with Venom's goofy humor: he's doing it on purpose. He's actively trying to get at Peter in any way he can, that includes making a mockery of his alter ego, Spider-Man. He keeps the spider logo and web swinging for the express purpose of mocking Spidey, he's perverting any aspect of the hero he can, adding a vicious toothy grin on top the visage of your friendly neighborhood spider. And if you're trying to mock and satirize Spidey, then that has to include: making fun of his wisecracking humor. Venom purposefully plays up a goofy juvenile sense of humor, filled with bad jokes and catchphrases, because he's parodying Spider-Man and his humor, by doing the verbal equivalent of spooderman.

I’m no expert on the venom character. I’ve only seen the first movie in the venom series, never saw him in any Spider-Man content before this, but this is my interpretation after playing the game and going in pretty much blind. Harry is driven by his motivation to heal the world. Repair ecosystems, prevent disease, end world hunger etc. the symbiote is shown to have a characterization of aggression from pretty early on. It fed on Peter’s turmoil and made him into a completely different, worse person. The symbiote even convinced Peter that he needed it to be a good Spider-Man. As he said himself, “it makes me a better spider man”. For the whole heal the world aspect of venom, we need to keep in mind that harry still viewed the symbiote as his treatment, his only way of staying alive. When he has it, he’s completely healthy, and hell it can repair people from the brink of death. Venom doesn’t necessarily want to take over the world, but with harry wanting to do so, and him viewing the symbiote at a “cure”, venom decides the best way to help harry with his mission is to spread his own symbiote presence to every living thing since he’s a “cure”. It was also established that the rock is what gives venom the power to presumably expand his mass indefinitely to create the symbiote drones. Why exactly? Beats me. We all know the real reason is because the plot demanded it.

And i might go as far as saying venom knew the meteor could do such a thing all along but since peter's main priorities were focused on defeating kraven and his band of mercs, curing connors and some other stuff hence why he didnt bat a eye to the meteor as it was not necessary yet.

In the venom comics ai think the Symbiote king Knull has the power to do this, and in spiderman 2099 carnage 2099 infected all of Nueva York with a symbiote virus and even infected 2099 Miles Morales, Miguel managed to not get infected by the symbiote but he almost died and had to ask for help which he didnt want to.

5:02 Means you just wanted this version to be even better, nothing wrong with that. It's a good thing, honestly, being able to critique for the sake of seeing the best version of something is how all reviewers should approach things.

I think in the upcoming Venom game, the host should definitely be Eddie this time. Modern audiences are used to Eddie Brock being a troubled but good guy at heart, so it would make sense if… say… the last piece of the Venom symbiote is Alice but dying, and somehow it finds Eddie and clings onto him for survival, becoming Venom once more. While the symbiote is furious at Spider-Man and wants revenge, Eddie is a decent guy who tries to “tame” the symbiote. And throughout the adventure they have, they both learn from each other, and the symbiote finally calms down… and they eventually become the Lethal Protector, no longer wanting revenge of Spider-Man. Could be funny seeing Peter and Miles’ reaction to Venom’s return… but he doesn’t want to harm them anymore. Hell as EddieVenom, he could finally be a savage goofball as maybe Eddie has a sense of humor. I’m saying this cause Eddie IS confirmed to be a part of this universe thanks to the first game… plus not only did people not like Harry as Venom but if Harry becomes Venom once again but good… what reason would Norman even have to become the Green Goblin in 3 then? Like, he’s heart broken over the fact that Harry is barely clinging onto life and blames the Spider-Men for taking away the last piece of his family… but if Harry is fine then… yeah him becoming the Goblin cause f*ck Spider-Man feels forced to me

i loved venom in this game. but i feel he was too rushed for the plot. if we actually saw the suit have a bit of a more intimidating design and eventually evolve into the bulkier version. harry would be cured (somewhat) and still be agent venom, but the symbiote would start making him kill and controls Harry as time goes on.

See I my two big issues with Venom in this game are: Harry being Venom makes sense, but they've literally done the "close friend becomes the big bad" 3 times in a row now, hell the Tinkerer is literally almost beat for beat the same base story as Venom. Second is that Venom doesn't feel like an opposite to Spider-man, he just feelsvlile a regular villain out for world domination.

Just felt like they didn’t know how to balance everyone. I love the look of him and the way he acts. But just feels shallow in the end.

I think heal the world meant that the symbiote made everyone strong and really healthy, which in Venoms mind isn’t bad because he twists the vision of his host, he gets the goal right but his execution of getting there is unethical by kinda removing everyone’s free will

I think it doesn’t help that this version of Venom didn’t really feel like a fresh take at all. It felt more of a mash up between the Ultimate & 2017 Spider-Man shows. It’s like Ultimate in the sense of Harry being Venom & it’s like the 2017 show by having the suit be the dominant personality of the two so by the end of the story the host just becomes a sack of meat that the suit puppets around until it’s taken off the character. Not to mention the whole thing about Venom wanting to infest the world with Symbiotes & leads to a New York infested with Symbiotes thing is taken straight out of the 2017 show. The problem isn’t that Venom is a new take from the comics. The problem is that it’s not even a new take on Venom. It’s just fusing together the last two animated series versions of them.

Venom as a character is two entities. (Eddie and the alien "black suit" in the comics). Venom is not the symbiote. It doesn't have a name, but you know, they combine themselves, and they call themselves Venom... Eddie hates, Peter and the symbiote hates Spider-Man. So yeah, it tells Eddie that Spider-Man is Peter, and so there ya go, they both hate him, so they're like, AWESOME! We're gonna name ourselves Venom because we wanna poison Spider-Man's life like literally make his life horrible. This is basic stuff. Now I'm guessing they wanted to do their own thing with the character, just like what Sony did with the Venom movies. Which can make things confusing... Why do they say "we are Venom" or if I remember, they advertised that Venom wants to kill Spider-Man in this game? How did he get so many people gooed up? lol. The 3rd act was rushed, and I wish things would make more sense. I feel like we could have gotten a lot better, especially since they had done such a good job with the 1st game. I still enjoyed playing the game nonetheless. Sorry for the rant. I'm just passionate.

1:37 I think he's missing the logo cause it's an origin story, and Venom didn't have the logo until AFTER he bonded with Spider-Man, which hasn't happened yet in the MCU. Insomniac Venom took the logo from Spider-Man after Agent Venom's debut with Harry and Pete rescuing Tombstone from the Hunters, JIC anyone wanted to use that as an argument. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the canon explanation for why it's missing.

kraven dying is the end of his journey and kraven won he got what he wanted the metorite turns people into simbiotes and the hunter are hunting simbiotes

Venoms motivations should have been to be a better hero than Spider-Man. It fulfills harries Characterization in act one. Of trying to use the suit to be a hero like Peter. And it fullfills the suits motivations of trying to prove to Peter it's a better hero than Spider-Man. Have them take over new York to innacr some fucked up martial law, where criminals are turned into symbiote soldiers for his army. And where citizens are being rounded up and kept in "martial law" have him stalk and honestly bully peter. Have him spend all of act 3 proving he's the "better hero" and can do what Peter is "to weak" to do

They should've had Venom want to kill Kraven and made Kraven the 2nd to last boss and Venom the last boss and Peter AND Miles fight Venom to stop him from killing Kraven and then Venom runs away into hiding and then the post credit scene is Knull possessing him and telling him he can heal the world like Harrys mother wanted with the meteorite and the 2nd and 3rd act of the 3rd game is the symbiote invasion.

He's definitely not perfect, but he's one of my favourite versions of Venom.

heal the world was venom corrupting harry's vision. harry wanted to heal the world and for some reason venom wanted to take it over so he convinced harry that taking it over would make it better

The third act of this game is basically web of shadows 2.0

In my opinion venom here always sticks to its host desire like with peter who deeply wanted to kill Kraven and so venom wished to help And for harry even if its a bit messed up it was the only Venom find to achieve Harry's goal and since harry wanted it to be done with peter, venom too wished Indeed i love this venom version

14:21 The symbiote is not evil, It only acts apon the hosts thoughts and desires For example harry in the first act wanted to be happy and feel good so the symbiote made him feel "energised" as harry says In the second act peter gets the suit he is WAY more trumatized than harry so the symbiote picks up on his negetive energy and makes him more dark and tries to makes him "a better spiderman" In the third act harry is pissed and mad so after he bonds with venom he wants to make everyone like himself because he is healed of his desease The venom symbiote acts on hosts desires and feelings but in a twisted way I dont view it as evil I view it as confused, It doesnt have any idea of what humans are like, Ot doesnt know how to correctly act on its hosts desires

The "Venom turns ppl into symbiotes" well u could argue that carnage and all his other children are examples of this venom has never turned ppl into random ass symbiotes but insomniac did say that this spiderman game series is not like any spiderman franchises and whatnot.

As for what “heal the world” means, what about what it was that was healing Harry? Venom. A symbiote. It was a symbiote Harry needed to heal. Venom’s corruption of that to Harry is that healing the world means for everyone to have symbiote. Then everyone is healed. Kinda like the Lizard from Amazing Spider-Man. To create a world without weakness is to make everyone genetically advanced and superior; make them into lizards. And as for Venom’s motivation, I know for certain thag one motivation he has is simply to have Peter. He reached out to him and gained the Spider symbol when he touched him as Agent Venom. Both Venom and Harry wanted to be more like Spider-Man; strong and a superhero. Both Venom and Harry wanted to save Peter’s life when he got stabbed. Both Venom and Harry wanted Peter by their side to support them in healing the world. Venom said to Kraven “you’re the reason we were seperated” showing that Venom blames Kraven for his and Peter’s broke connection but just like Harry, he still wants and values him.

I feel like what they should do with the last DLC is (and this is quite insane) Pull a Sonic Frontiers move and make the final DLC a revised version of the 3rd act

In this game venom can turn people into simbionts and he has wings. So he probably killed knull and became the king in black or he replaced him and knull doesn't exist in this universe. whatever it is, im kinda sad that we will not see knull in this version of spiderman

I think a lot of the story including the symbiote invasion would be much better if the symbiote's motivations weren't vague and I got a solution to that problem.....Develop the symbiote as a character when it's bonded with Peter during the black suit arc. When I say that, I mean write it so the Venom symbiote talks to Peter and has actual conversations with him so it sounds like a creature with personality. It would want to help Peter rid New York of criminals like Kraven and Peter would come to like the symbiote not just for giving him power, but also for being a great buddy that he can talk to. Then when the symbiote invasion happens, Venom is actually helping Harry achieve his dream in healing the world by giving everyone symbiote powers, but Peter and Miles opposes Venom because his methods are wrong. It could really flesh out Venom's character and develop a deep emotional connect between him and Peter. I actually made a short series of Reddit post on how I would improve Venom's character in the game if anyone here wants more in depth context for my idea.

For me Venom was good in his role as a pure evil demon that changed Peter’s life for the better. The parasite manipulated his darkest desires and insecurities to add fuel to their fire so Peter could be dependent on it until the goodness within him that Miles helped reach out to overcame Venom. The symbiote’s story with Peter showed Peter the severe downsides to his dedication to spider-man that have hurt his relationship with MJ and how the symbiote had a field day releasing all the pent up rage and darkness Peter has in him after in his mind failing aunt May cause he wasn’t everything everyone needed him to be. By the end of the story Peter realizes he needs time to be Peter Parker for awhile. He takes a break from Spider-Man to refocus his life after 10 years of nonstop spider-man duties and it really seems he’s going to develop better work life balance skills. However Venom himself did not have a lot of screen time and did just was what was expected of him to be. I feel we should have gotten more missions and cutscenes with him that show us more dimension to this kind of two dimensional parasite.

Venom can reproduce, but not to that extent without the help of the metiorite in this game, and when he does reproduce in the comics its usually one or two offspring over time and not instant

I understand why people dont like this iteration of venom. Venom has always been faithful as the anti spiderman. Wanting to destroy spiderman for being rejected as the symbiote and hated as eddie brock. But in opinion i think its also fair to give and change motives of characters, i think donny cates really gave some interesting symbiote lore and personally i like exploring that. Plus i think its makes sense in the story because harry wants to heal the world and least in terms of the symbiote and Harry. Harry is very broken and with being rejected by spiderman but also wanting to help people like spiderman their motive works.

Idk about the comics, but it was in WOS where he can make people into symbiotes, I said this before finishing the vid

I don't think Venom can return in Spider-Man 3, the symbiote was destroyed after Harry was separated from it.

First 2 acts were almost perfect , some improvements could’ve been made yes, but after killing kraven . Zoom the venom saga flew right by so damn fast . A solo title game would be great with him in it

Heal the world has two different views with harry and venom Harry’s is easy to know cause it’s in your face when exploring EMF venoms it’s about spreading the symbiote to everyone so they are safe but venom by himself wanted to take over the world like the Sony version originally intended it’s probably to expand knulls reach the god of symbiotes

i agree man venoms motivation shoudlve been to ruin peters life but another thing is they coudlve made it work the web of shadows stuff if it was eddie i think that if eddie said that hes going to take peters city away from him that he cares so much abt which is the tendrills all around city. and that hes gonna take his people away from him which is turning ppl into symbiotes. and the way they coudlve made that work is that we shoudlve gotten a boss fight in the beginign of act 3 and venom shoudlve said to peter that he hasnt suffered enough and this is the reason why hes gonna do all of this. and after hes done doing the web of shadows stuff hes gonna actually ruin his life like taking his loved ones away from him reveal his identity and other stuff that can ruin his life. what do u think do u think my version ofd the 3rd act coudlve been alot better than what we got. AND, in the final boss is the same thing that u said where we fight in the city and we switch but miles and peter are fighting together.

I like your take too but the one we got is also great, just that the third act could have been longer and Venom could have used more screentime. Harry being Venom makes more sense as I was set up from the previous 2 post credit scenes so they can't just abandoned that and give it to Eddie. I definitely like the idea of Venom having 2 boss fights, one at the beginning of act 3 and 2nd one in the end

Heal the world is a lie created by Venom to make Harry think he is doing something good
