Wow, that Luka story is so interesting! I remember Mafuyu asking Miku if she’d still be there if she died, and Miku saying the world and the vocaloids would still exist. I wonder if we will ever get more exploring that mystery. And I hope we get more of that mystery Sekai and other sekais. That would be so interesting

She was forcing herself to look happy in front of her friends/WxS when she was really sad because her elder brothers were planning to drastically change Pheonix Wonderland. But the other WxS members noticed she was forcing herself and reminded her that it's ok to be sad sometimes and they will work through it together!

5:55 actually the SEKAI coma theory is that the characters might be going INTO a coma when they enter the SEKAI, and then waking up when out of it. I think it’s bc in the main stories, most of the leaders wake up when getting out the SEKAI for the first time. Tsukasa gets woken up by Saki, and it shows Kanade not waking up at all and instead, it shows nightcord chats! Although the abandoned SEKAI theory is very interesting.. THIS VID WAS AMAZING OTHER THX FOR USING MY ICEBERGGG

5:50 also! for the 25ji + L/N part, honami would still be bullied (because ichika, saki and shiho gave her the confidence to face her bullies/fake friends, but if saki wasn’t there, ichika wouldn’t have formed the trio from the start.) so, honami would be sad/depressed if saki died/she kept being bullied. that means she wouldn’t have the motivation to be kanade’s housekeeper, and kanade would die, since if i recall correctly, honami saved kanade one day finding her fainted on the floor because she forgot to eat. if she didn’t find her sooner, i think she would’ve died. kanade also let honami be her housekeeper because she trusts her and knows her well, if it was any other person, i’m pretty sure she wouldn’t let them be the housekeeper. Or maybe, if it was anyone else, they wouldn’t have noticed kanade fainting, since honami was able to save her because she noticed her looking at the window while she was passing by the street. so, if kanade died, 25ji couldn’t have formed, since she was the one who created it.

little mistake. Honami was bullied in middle school but not when the leo/need story begins she is just afraid that the friends she made in class would not like her is she was hanging around with a lot of ppl, something like that i dont know how to explain. Her class friends are still her friends they are just faceless (i could be wrong i haven't read all the events)

As a comment on the Sekai Coma Theory, I think the abandoned sekai could’ve been owned by Mizuki’s, Emu’s, and Toya’s sibling(s). Knowing Mizuki has a sister over seas, Emu has an older sister and two older brothers, and that Toya has two brothers, it possibly could’ve been that the four (or possibly three) had made a group. A moment had come where they had found “untitled” in one of their playlists, met Miku, and as they grew up and started having younger siblings and family burdens, they didn’t often come to their sekai. (My theory/opinion)

I think Mizuki and Shiho have many parallels too. Both were treated as "that strange kid". Both have an older sister who is into making clothes. Both like everything cute. Both had a rooftop lonely friend in middle school after all!!

For the Mafukasa parellels, yes they are somewhat similar, but in my opinion there are more differences than similarities. Both have a very different way of coping (Tsukasa’s main way to cope from what I see is toxic positivity and Mafuyu putting on a ‘good girl’ persona) and Tsukasa’s parents don’t seem emotionally abusive unlike Mafuyu’s parents. Although, I see why they are often compared. Most of their issues come from family not school or any other social life like Mizuki and Rui, and both are kind of left aside to act like everything is fine when it isn’t. For Tsukasa, I would say that he hasn’t gotten any better, it’s just that becoming a star and making others smile is another coping mechanism to force himself foward. (Correct me if I’m wrong, I have ENsekai and I haven’t read up on all the lore) but yeah.. It’s nice that it’s included that to the list though! It’s nice to have some deeper lore in there :D Edit: Spelling lmao

Tsukasa's heavily implied to be neglected as a child though, and even though the parents had to look after saki and that wasn't their fault, straight up neglecting a child can be considered abuse in some cases. In a way both mafuyu and tsukasa had a lack of support and love from their parents during childhood if that makes sense 😭

Yes, don’t worry it does. I don’t think Tsukasa’s parents left him intentionally though, but it’s still bad nonetheless! Thanks for including that haha. Also Mafuyu’s parents (her mother specifically) are helicopter parents. They watch her every move and even look through her computer when she isn’t looking! Tsukasa’s parents however, like you said are neglectful. Which fits into my argument that both have been and still are in VERY different environments. And it’s something I kind of forgot to mention or I rather worded poorly.

8:00 adding onto this and the entry about the characters aging on the 3rd anniversary, im pretty sure the sekai devs have confirmed new groups will be added in the future. im pretty sure its because all of these characters’ storylines are going to be exhausted at some point, and if they really do age, then someday they wont be even be in school anymore. their only options after that are to add more units, or close the game. im excited to see what units they could add in the future, but its also sad to think that our current units wont last forever :’)

tbh we have every popular vocaloid genre covered so what could a new group's genre be without having all their songs overlap with other groups? we already have some overlap anyway, with some songs fitting multiple units. either they replace the groups with similar ones (which i doubt will go over well, people don't like change) or just let the game die out. i was surprised when they said they'd age them up, since it doesn't feel like they built the game to be long-term, but i'd love to be proven wrong

Also, there are a lot of styles to explore in vocaloid, it just depends on what management would think. Like.. a unit with heavy metal would be funny lol, or possibly and alt rock band (because I am an insane alt rock enjoyer) yes these r robots but they can do almost everything.. and commissioned songs are for the real people.

@@yukishu they already touch on personal character arcs, although most of the focus is on getting their units off the ground rn. but they will run out of stuff to work with at some point, hopefully not any time soon and idk, how many metal songs can u think of that have the same kinda popularity as the songs they add to project sekai? i dont think it'd be enough to carry a whole unit, same with other niche genres unfortunately. but would be cool to see lol

In the case of Mafukasa parallels, it stems specifically from Tsukasa being the only “creator” of the wonderland sekai and Mafuyu the only “creator” of the empty sekai. The other 3 are formed from the dreams and memories of their groups as a whole, while Tsukasa and Mafuyu’s come only from the individual. It caused people to start looking into what the 2 had in common.

Two things Suicidal Honami: this is actually based off a different side story (not sure which though) where Kanade ask Honami is she wanted to disappear and she said sometimes Kanade heat strokes: Due to her long hair, Kanade would have heat strokes during the summer.

Actually, as far i know in the "Saki Glue Theory", it will not really affect in the empty sekai to exist, because that sekai is made only by Mafuyu's feelings that aren't because of her friends, everything starts with her parents (i know it will affect the main story but i'm talking just by the creation of that sekai) please correct me if i'm wrong, so i can learn more of the story, thanks

i think they meant the units rather than the actual sekai. also in all of the stories, it is implied that the virtual singers know who will be in the sekai and that way it wouldt really be the empty sekai that we have now.

I'm pretty sure it would affect Honami, and Honami takes care of Kanade, if Saki dies, Honami will be likely depressed, depression leads to loss of motivation and interest in things, meaning she won't work for Kanade anymore, without Honami, Kanade would literally die, without Kanade, 25ji won't exist, without 25ji, empty sekai is technically useless. Damn since when did Saki become the main protagonist of this game

for su1cidal honami, it was when kanade asked her if she ever felt like she wanted to disappear, and honami said yes, sometimes tsukasa wont get mafuyud, im sorry i hate when people say stuff like this and i know you didnt say it cos its not your iceberg 😭😭 but yea, he has a unique storyline, and so does everyone else. hes depressed for a completely different reason to mafuyu.

I already know myself Tsukasa most likely will never be mafuyufied, however there are two things that keep me from believing it completely. My first piece of evidence would be how Tsukasa tends to avoid his problems or repress them and put a mask on his face pretending its ok or using toxic positivity. In a way its somewhat similar to Mafuyu who puts on a good girl persona to please others in which she put it on so much, she forget who she truly was. My next theory is actually a simple area conversation with Rui and Toya. We already know about Tsukasa's big star persona. But in this conversation Rui asked Toya if Tsukasa always was the way he is now. I don't exactly remember Toya's response but I believe he said something about him suddenly having this personality because of Saki's illness and wanting to comfort her which implies he might have had a different personality but changed it too make himself one like a star to entertain Saki. For all we know he could had been very taciturn before. (If I'm not too lazy I'll come back to this comment and edit it give more context)

You are right. Tsukasa is literally straight forward guy.Therefore he won't have many psycho problems like others even they was in a simalier situation.

i know everyone probably saw this but when mafuyus mom was talking about the dress mafuyu was going to were for the play (before she sewed another one) her mom said "the dress i didnt like" and made no mention of mafuyu having a problem with it

honestly, I can't get over the abandoned sekai stuff. If god miku gave me a blessing in the form of a pocket dimension, I'm absolutely going to abuse the hell out of it

At 5:50 for 25-ji since Honami is friends with Saki she probably wouldn't have been able to be Kanade's housekeeper due to her being sad about Saki's death so add that to 25-ji I guess

The Mafukasa one will be real Saki will still be in a coma even if Tsukasa goes to high school and keeps the "loud and annoying mask" around his friends to keep himself sane and keep his promise to Saki and keep hoping and hoping each day, like a broken record, that Saki will one day wake up. Luka entering an untitled SEKAI makes a room for interesting lore, indeed. Vocaloid songs mostly have depressing stuffs(other than sexual and normal stuffs) so it would be very interesting to see a different side of story.

Wait why are people surprised about leo/needs instruments being real...I thought it was obvious by looking at them alone..

5:47 and maybe Honami wouldn’t go to help Kanade with her housework as a housekeeper. So that Kanade maybe died because Honami didn’t save her life (by sending her to the hospital) when she was fainted in her house. 25ji wouldn’t have formed.

I like a lot the interactions between Honami and Kanade🥺 The "Saki Glue Theory" is interesting and sad too😔And the coma theory huuuh😭😭 Fortunately they're not alone and I don't want a bad end for this game😭(I'm sure the end will be happy) Honestly I don't see a reason to add a new unit...well we'll see and...I don't want a separation of the groups I can't handle that...Even if it will happen for WxS😔(reference to their last event, Rui focus).

I was a fan of this game since last year and wasn’t really ever involved in the fandom, but this game made me so happy. I couldn’t help but watch this video because this game’s storyline just speaks to me. I started to get more into the fandom because my friends made jokes about the characters so i wanted to get more involved. A year late but what you said about the bad side of the fandom is kind of good advice, how many stay away from fandom and just follow official content. I’ve only gotten recently into the game itself and since then I’ve deleted twitter and decided to stay away from fandom spaces (minus some KZread videos and liking some instagram art) and honestly it’s the most fun I’ve had with a game for a super long time. It’s nice to enjoy the game by myself and go at my own pace and ship things without someone from twitter yelling about how only certain ships are canon. When I do interact the little I do, I see loads of creativity, passionate artists and amazing edits and analysis videos. Anyways thank you for creating this video. It’s giving someone like me who’s still a bit new to the game (not to enjoying vocaloid characters/songs though, I’ve been a fan since I was about 12 which is 6 years now haha) a little bit more info here and there.

im sure the abandoned sekai was N25 miku’s her faded hair, no light in her eyes might be her lost feelings. and N25 miku’s personality before was like ena’s! as if it shows creativity and stuff. and luka can only sense miku’s presence there so maybe it could be N25 miku.

I play this game so I can relax from real life and listen to my favorite songs but man why is it so dark 😭😭 Although I really like dark and mysterious stories. Especially the Luka fes side story with the abandoned Sekai. It's a very eery but interesting story that needs to be told.

I feel like Tsukuba would pull a “my parents are sad since saki died so I’ll cheer them up by becoming a star so they will be happy again! Saki, look for me in the sky! I’ll become the brightest star in the world!” For the saki glue theory so some parts may stay the same. If both tenmas were gone then project sekai would really be doomed

Abt Saki's empty sekai, I guess that empty sekai is Saki's sekai when she was at the hospital. She still wanted to be with her friends, but she couldn't and maybe that's why it's abandoned bc it's not found. maybe if there us Saki's FES card for next colorful fes, the fes card story might be she touching a sekai piece, and go there

For the 3rd anni ages, it could be posssible that while they have birthdays, they won’t age. Or, they will, and some characters will go to college and have a storyline about that. There’s a lot of opportunities here.

It must be MafuMom's Sekai... How cold and how much there are eggs around the SEKAI. MafuMom didn't give up about her wish, so she want Mafuyu to grant her wish. That's why the eggs are still warm because Mafumom didn't give up on it.

i agree with how shipping is definitely a headcanon! It won't be canon unless the creator/s say so. However I think it's okay to ship if: 1. You don't disrespect others ships. 2. They aren't toxic or illegal 3. And you understand they may or may not be canon. I think it's alright to ship minors, but it's not okay to depict them in a s3xual manner. Shipping doesn't always equal that, perhaps it could mean wholesomeness and angst and all those feelings real teens go through, yknow? Teens go through those other, *sus* feelings too, but that doesn't mean it's bad, that's just life and I personally think it's more realistic as teens (however if it goes a little to far... *the rock face* /j)
