The Professionals - some of my favourite scenes
Ойын-сауық
The banter / interaction between the lads is something that makes Pros somewhat special, so I picked up some of my favourite scenes.
Note: I (unfortunately) don't own the lads nor the song. All rights are reserved to those entitled and not me. This is a completely non-profit fan-made video created for entertainment purposes only.

Love watching these old shows, even for seeing scenery/locations/streets from way back, the fashion, the cars, basically the whole period, great stuff. Things just seemed better back then, can never understand why it feels that way but can't help harking back to old times, love it. As a kid watching this, I would have never understood it the way I do now and the banter makes a lot of sense to the whole setup, brilliant. Cheers.
Love these 2 gents acting might b 40+ years but timeless for me
STILL the best thing on television!
One of the best shows ever
My mum told me about how she used to watch this show back in the days and after seeing an episode or two, I got hooked! Excellent show!
When TV was GREAT! ... My fave show at the time ... still the best now - even named my dog Bodie!
LOL that first scene gives me a fit over and over again! heeheeeehheeeeeeeeeeee,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and the one from 1.07 to 1.35, it's just adorable in its own way, as Bodie gets struck with the fact that Doyle actually cared for his safety... oh so cute! Ach I love this! Great vid, thank you so very much for making and posting this!
I love them! I had my mum buy me my very own portable TV so I could watch them in my bedroom lol watching the series all over again now :O)
Good suggestion. Watching the DVDs might bring back the major buzz I got watching the show as a kid.
The best of British TV... Fast forward

The best of British TV... Fast forward 40yrs and what have got now? Towie and made in Chelsea crap. (
Oh My Goodness.... heheheheheheheee..... Priceless banter indeed, would love to know how much was improvised and what's in the script... yepp, you just can't help but love them! ;-)
Heh heh, just watched the episode that finishes with the "this is not a real gun" bit.... "BODIE!!" priceless! Good old ITV4
Always loved the first scene. I'm glad that episode aired first instead of Old Dog With New Tricks because its a way better scene to introduce the main characters.
Well as you have certainly found out by now, it was Gordon Jackson playing the tough chief Mr Cowley :)
The proffs great even today rip Gordon and lewis 😢
You had some of my favorites as well! "Who was standing in the window?" and "I hadn't noticed" in particular!
If I could put the "I've not noticed" bit on a one-hour loop I would!
Love how the tin cans get pulled to the right when they should of gone forward lol. Well string technology was prob high tech back in the 70s. One of my fav if not best uk kinda Police series. We all wanted those Fords
Its a great shame they couldn't have seen Bodie (Lewis Collins) potential to play Bond. He would have been one of the best!

There is also the one in which Doyle asks Bodie if he is " some kind of bird-watching freak" in the "jungle" episode.
Love it! some of the clips I have never seen before. Thanks
Good ones! Good choice!
Doyal is so funny
So much better than todays guff
Fantastic
I had only JUST realised that it was Lewis in that particular Jack the Ripper movie. It was shown on Malaysian tv a few years ago - yet i had no idea that one of the stars was LC, playing opposite...ohwhatshisnameagain! brilliant...
Great series
I surely do!
Incidentally, priapismic means "prurient or lascivious behavior." Doyle's right, it DOES fit Bodie! Excellent choices, dear lady.
Great
A lot of Czech grow up with this great serial =)
Bodie had the best hair. That's the best head of real manhair a man could ever have. And good manly 'burns. I'm going to a BARBER and I'm gonna get that haircut.
I wonder if Martin Shaw had a special hairdresser to do his hair?
I'm gonna search KZread and watch all of LC's movies from now on...well, yes - a few decades too late..i suppose. oh dear.
:D :D :D Thank you!
I`ve got the lot on DVD!

Where did you get the DVDs from? I just found this show (I know, a little late), and have seen a few episodes online, but the quality isn't the best. Thanks .

Excellent... but no "on the bus" clips from "First Night" or "Herr Wagner" and "liver sausage" banter from "Cry Wolf"?
I've been looking around for some full episodes just so I can check out the clothes and hair styles but there don't seem to be any online.
4 5 3 7 over!! I loved those shavers
Oi! Vielen Dank für die wunderbaren Schnippsel! The Terrible Twins
alot was filmed at southall gas works
3:02 The guy coming in is the guy who now plays Jack Meadows in The Bill.
The British Starsky and Hutch
Hihihi!
Ahem, can some Brit please confirm if I heard it wrong 'cause I'm not trusting my ears and English here... DOES Doyle actually say to Bodie in 2:09 - 2:12 "(if) You wreck my bike, I burn your rubber duck!"....... ??? XD

Yes he says exactly that.
Hey, wieso hast du mir nix von dem Teil gesagt??? Nur gut, dass KZread mir eine e-mail geschickt hat *schmoll* Hehe, das hast du aber echt die besten Sachen rausgepickt. Well done, sunshine!
Love Doyle xx
3:43 Wich episode?
@Boobdepot1977 the guy was a hairdresser!
Is this show what inspired the United States Starsky and Hutch

No, The Professionals was rather *inspired by* Starsky & Hutch. You see, Starsky & Hutch first aired on U.S. television around 1975 or 1976, a year or two before The Professionals had first aired on British television (1977). Heck, I was a VERY ACTIVE toddler in the mid 70's who just LOVED to watch Starsky & Hutch with my then 20-something parents (so long as I would behave myself and NOT throw ANY tantrums 😂💜). Oh, those were the good ol' days of television!!😢
I'm sure The Professionals wouldn't have shot an innocent Brazilian 10 times in the head.
the old man in this looks alot like gordon jackson who starred in downstairs upstairs

That's because it is.
Or you could be a nice guy (or gal) and save me some money by uploading some episodes...
Did Lewis and Martin really not get on? It doesnt show in their performances.

What I find most sad is that Lewis never liked to talk about his role in this series.
Check Doyle's trigger finger in 1:10. How professional is that???
