You do whatever you want. As long as that isn’t telling others what to do
Why wearing gloves around jointers, planers, and routers?? I've gotten pulled in and whacked good with a router without wearing any gloves and that was enough to learn. Just lose the gloves, it's not even rough lumber. All it takes is ONE MILLISECOND to lose your fingers for life.

I think I remember a notification in another video where he said he has some kind of medical condition that requires he wear gloves but not recommending that others do the same. But I may be misremembering. Makes me nervous watching it too

Walnut Maple Cherry is the safest. These trees have been used by humans for thousands of years :)
