Very interesting and it's good to see the sticker and label making process.

A CTP plate, or computer-to-plate plate, is a metal sheet used in modern printing presses that has an image directly applied to it using a laser or thermal process. This contrasts with the older method of computer-to-film (CTF), where the digital file was first output onto film, which was then used to create the printing plate.

That gave me flashbacks to the company I worked for here in the states. They make labels (stickers) like the ones showcased here.

Technically, yes, but companies like this make the stickers Lego uses for their sets. They call those labels, not stickers.
