The Japanese have always been known for quality. As a fisherman, trust in your fishing tools/rods is a necessity. There is nothing worse than a rod tip coming loose because of poor quality when youre 3 hours out in the ocean. I would trust these rods!

シートの切断が鏡とほぼ同じなのに驚きました。釣り歴は56年になるのでシートの巻き方軸の抜き方は知っていたので切断機を見れてありがとうございました。です。

Another very therapeutic video!! They blur out the name of the product but didn't blur out the logo of the brand that they are manufacturing it for which look to be Pro-Kennex but they're known for tennis rackets and never heard of any fishing rods from them.

По всей видимости процесс изготовления лыжных палок из карбона очень похож! Я чинил поломку лыжной палки с помощью кусочка удочки, так же.

If this is a "hand made" fishing rod manufacturing process, then most carbon rod in the market are "hand made" This is a pretty standard fishing rod factory. I am looking for factories with more precise and automated process, not more hand made process to reduce errors and defunct products.

Looking at their web site, it looks like they only produce blanks for custom rod builders. I couldn't see how to get an English version of the site. Oh well.

I was watching this with Thai subtitle. Machine translation of the subtitle can be funny at times. For example, when curing the metal rod+carbon fiber sheet inside the curing machine, the translation says "ใส่เข้าไปในเครื่องและทำแผล" which means to put something into the machine and treating the wound (like when you got cut by a knife and then put a bandage on it). In another day, I was watching another one that presents how to make a wood plane. That one was really funny as well. The plane in that case is a woodworking tool, but it's translated as "เครื่องบิน" (air plane), which is a totally different thing. I assumed that the translation is made into English first and then go to Thai, as Japanese would use different words for "air" plane and "wood" plane. It's still better than no explanation, as someone like myself who has no manufacturing knowledge would be left in the dark. I'm totally understand that this is machine translation and it's quite often mistranslated as it didn't take the context of the video into consideration. I just fine it hilarious, that's all!

They make the Tenkara style rod. Its very popular among mountain trout fisherman because of its high quality and portability. A newer rod style trend in the West that has caught on like wildfire. I have 1 myself, different Japanese brand. This rod company is Kimuraya. High quality!

いや、手作業工程が多いのが動画の会社が零細だからであって当然ながら大手は殆どオートメイションですよ。 別に職人的な調整が必要な工程とかは無いですからね。 値段の高さは、単純にカーボンシートの密度などによる値段の差に起因します。 釣竿メーカーって大手でもカーボンシートは自前ではなく仕入れですからね。
