Even tho we are all sad about the recast I can bet all my money that we will get used to the new voices in a year or so. Not only that but knowing atlus'es money hungry attitude I might see them releasing a P3 reload ultimate edition or something a year later with femc and the answer just so they can get your money twice from the same game

It's been 17 years. The likelihood of them casting the og people is slim at best, what did people expect? That and they already recast Chie is p4g, and man was the new one terrible lol.

They probably will take out the reverse social links mechanic 😅, you don't see the tired mechanic emoji in the trailers, aswell.

Bro, they already did recasting in Persona 4 Golden, Chie and some others were recast. Persona 4 Dancing had a different Rise if I remember correctly.

I reckon Japanese players might end up ignoring this game (even if the games good) if it doesn't come to switch, it happened with soul hackers 2 and same thing could happen with this game (even with visions of mana since that games not getting a switch version)

Persona 3 reload made me want to off myself. I was on the precipice of a decision that would change my life forever. Gun in my mouth in one hand, controller in the other. I slowly laid the gun on the end table and decided to play through it with the gun in my peripheral vision. Everytime I heard my character speak beads of sweat went rolling down the sides of my face I'd bite my lip and catch the gun in my side eye, I pressed onwards struggling through my day to day staring at the hollow version of myself that now existed in the mirror as I brushed my teeth every morning before setting back down to continue my Persona 3 Reload journey. Finally I beat the game and really it wasn't to bad you guys should play it.

Atlus: "you kept begging so we did this so yall can shut the hell up"

I think you're being pretty dramatic. The Answer is infamous and FemC isn't THAT crucial in my opinion. The only real bummer is the voice cast, but hey let's at least give the new cast a chance. They might knock it out of the park.

I’m sorry but if they took out Makoto ya’ll would rage. Its the same sentiment. The FEMC was a great character and her perspective was one so unique we have not gotten one like it again in persona. Atlus skips corners so much I cannot possibly put their business on the scale of others who make ambitious decisions for all their fans, not just a part of the fanbase.

As much as I hate the fact that they recast everyone because I am that type of diehard fan. I can’t believe that we are not getting FEMC’s route. Kotone’s route is totally different than Makoto’s. It brings so much light to the darkness of the game. It’s my preferred route to play and I am super salty about all that content not being in Reload.

The combat is cool but, man the social links suck. And story ant vibing with me. 4 and 5 actually make you care about the people your chilling with so its a 7 out of ten for me

To be honest it’s not that big of deal cause personally I think the answer was just med and the female protagonist while yeh she is cool I don’t like her story as much as the orginal and the newer voice are pretty good

The loss of female protagonist definitely hurts, but losing The Answer isn’t a big deal to me.

I’d riot, I’d protest, I’d even start a petition if they ever dare change the dub voice boys in P4. I love those boys so much, especially Yu’s voice.

Can people stop making such a big deal out of recast. I also don't get why you said the cast is what made the characters relatable when the VA is not what makes a character relatable in the slightest. It was already theorized that a few of the VA would be recasted, for example, since the og VAs for Aigis and Junpei did/said some controversial stuff in the past.

There’s a Famitsu interview where they clarify that the Answer and FeMC are not in. However, other QoL and bonus content from FES and Portable will be in. So while this isn’t “definitive,” it’ll be close. It’ll probably be my definitive, as I’m not upset about no Answer or FeMC. The recast is what has me upset though.

its sad that we do not get definitive version of p3 with the additional story/femc route with the new remake n most of the characters being recasted but i am glad that p3 get the remake it deserve. its my first persona game 15 years ago n it sits in a special place in my heart.

"atleast they recently ported p3p to modern platforms".... just ignore how crunchy and bad those ports are with really bad audio and ai upscaled backgrounds that often actually lower the detail by culling certain things. atlus made an entire arc in recent q2 about how femc wasn't "alone and forgotten" on top of including her in marketing posters and then they go and do this. honestly part of me is coping they add femc+some form of the answer in dlc or another reremake in 2+ years. cant wait for them to remake p1 and for some big brain reason just cut snow queen or remake p2 with missing features.

That bummed me out as well, but I don't plan on playing this anyway. I'm kinda tired of retreading the same stories. Make Persona 6 already.

I feel like you’re being too picky lmao. The game doesn’t have to be definitive to be the best persona 3 to play which is what the overwhelming majority of people want. Persona 3 is my favorite game ever and I love the OG cast but I feel like it would be wrong to write off this new cast as they have some very talented people on it

I kinda got a sour taste in my mouth when he said the og VAs was a factor in making the characters relatable, which makes no sense in the first place.Shouldn't people find relatablility with a character's backstory or their issues? A character's VA or voice has nothing to do with relatablility. And of course, I'll say for the 10th time, but people are being really dramatic over the recast, like it's not that big of deal

@@AceOfSpades038 Performance plays a significant role in how we take to a character. The portrayal alone can make or break a character. Of course, the writing is extremely important as well, but to me, you’re downplaying the importance of performance. They go hand in hand.

honestly i don't care about the issues, the game looks fucking great

I can see they doing the same with P4Regolden 🤣🤗🤭😏, but remaking vanilla P4, instead of P4G, since alot of folks don't like Marie. 😅 Creating a similar thing as P3Re and P3P, is more 🤑 for them though.

i won´t buy this shit remake the same reason why i didn´t buy pokemon bdsp, i don´t support shit remakes
