Yea you have to work your ass of to get points towards the boxes or you wast money on them

Back in the day, when you opened a megabox you were guaranteed to get a minimum ~200-300 gold and ~100-150 power points. This was back when it only took 1440 power points to upgrade a brawler to max. Now, that the cost to upgrade a brawler has increased to roughly triple what it used to be, and there are so many more brawlers in the game, how is it that people are opening these and getting less than 100 gold? The math isn't mathing. I've never seen a game weaponize cosmetics like brawl stars has. You get so many cosmetics that your progression slows down, and they intentionally appear in place of the rarer rewards. When I get a legendary star drop, I DO NOT WANT A SKIN, I WANT A HYPERCHARGE, but out of the last 10 legendary star drops I've opened I've received 8 skins and 1000 credits. Even when I'm not getting rare star drops, I get spammed with power points that I can't use, bling, token doublers, and other cosmetics that I don't care about. How has gold been the only resource that matters for so many years consecutively? How are people not mad about this?

you get 4 tokens a day from daily events and 1 from special quests, the event lasts 20 days so that's 100 tokens. 10 Mega boxes require 120 tokens so you will get roughly 8, you also get one free from the shop at the begining which takes us at 9. If we look back at the past godzilla event where you had to open a certain ammount of temporary loot boxes (eggs), they gave a few free eggs at the begining and end of the event to make sure most people that were in a relatively active clan would get the skin, so i can only asume they will give a free mega box at the end of the event as well not to mention that they announced a challange where you can get more mega boxes, or at least tokens, so chances are everyone that plays 30 minutes each day during the event wil get the rico skin Are boxes good? no Did some people get lucky with the drops? yes. We all get a free hypercharge skin? also yes

At least the godzilla event the rewards were decent + the game modes were fun. These two new classic modes absolutely suck. You dont even get 1 mega box a day which sucks. The mega box rewards are completely rng and only lucky ones will be happy. But most of us are unlucky including me. I got friking 24 coins 42 power points 20 bling and 200 xp doubler in my first free mega box reward. The rewards are so bad id rather get 4 rare star drop cuz at least i get better chance to get 50 gold

Megaboxes were much, much more stable back before. This feels like starrdrops reskin, not like a megabox. There weren't such a huge gap between drops (I mean that boxes gave you, let's say, between 250 and 300 powerpoints and around 300 coins. These "megaboxes" give you between 10 and 1000 powerpoints and same thing with coins. Oh, of course you would NOT get 1000 of pp/coins cuz chances for it is lower than my chances to become successful in life). Also there were gems in boxes before "brawl pass". Skins were indeed more accessible because of this. And tickets. I liked me some tickets at weekend to get a lot of boxes to open later on.

Also the power points where spreaded between brawlers, in total it was like 300 to 800 power points, i remember a single brawler could get up to around 150 power points. Basically these new "Megaboxes" are a scam. They should really just change the values to a decent, like around the half of what a megabox would give you, also the gold value should be doubled, cuz 1000 gold is worth nothing. No way 40 bling, 120 gold, 80 power points, 200 token doublers and 7 gems are worth five dollars.

Skins are actually more accessible right now, with starrdrops and guaranteed gems

The problem is that the new boxes are focused more on dropping new items (by type of brawlers, skins, etc.) than on upgrading acc, as it was before. Therefore, u should buy boxes on not full acc to get max profit. But honestly, u get really bad drops than an ordinary player

They can't really be that good because it would be a way too big buff for progression and would lose Supercell lots of money, but 80 GEMS is way too big of a price for a bit better starr drop

No they wont? You wont get 20-30 megabox from this event. Most people will obtain 1 mega box per 2-3 days. Thats around 10-15 megaboxes assuming that they will atleast give us some quests.Also you have to play every days whatever trophy event has those points and the special event

I remember back in the day when I played so little that I only got one mega box and I got a new brawler from it (think it was spike) . And I remember the small boxes having better drops than star drops

I feel like supercell made this event so that we'd finally shut the hell up about bringing boxes back

The Mega box rewards are honestly tragic. All they give is cosmetics and rarely a brawler, which is worth less than a NORMAL DAMN STARR DROP. You get more coins from a super rare starr drop, than from a single mega box.

They should decrease the skin drop chance (and probably delete xp doublers being obtainable) so you get good, guaranteed account progression every single megabox.

Good old times when premium account was 180 gems and you could get like 160 gems back when finishing the road and going again for the premium (now called a brawl pass)

What i don't like about this new "mega box" is that when you pull a skin it gives you the pin/profile icon/spray in a seprate number Like you get a box with 10 and 4 of those are from stellar shelly (shown in the video)

As a f2p i have gotten only icons and pin I thought in the start I would be amazing but it’s just disappointing now because you like you spend 2 days on just like 50 coins and like 30 powerpoints

I think mega boxes were got back only for the nostalgia. They don't serve the same purpose as OG mega boxes that were very hard to get and were used to push progression by a lot.

Btw he said 500 credits epic brawler 1000 credits mythic but you need 1000 for an epic and 1900 for mythic 😢

I think the new megaboxes are ruining my memories of the good old days😓

Im a f2p and I hate hypercharge, they cost 5000coin and a brawl pass only contains 8000coins, Im not gaining progression, the more hypercharges there are my account is just further from getting maxed out. I think f2p player should get at least 30000 free coins per month.

i remember when the new brawler was free if you bought the season pass ( if you wait collect 2 seasons worth of diamonds you were able to buy it for free)

I did get Crow on alt but the more progression on a single acc seems to lessen the chances of a half way decent drop by a lot

Brawler rates are much higher gems were impossible to get and cosmetics were also, if you are looking for coins and power points I dont know what to tell you, we have everything else for that.

@@taquavion99999 It isn't but you are assuming every box is the worst possible case. You can do that with old mega boxes and you will get the same outcome, disappointed. A decent amount of boxes give skins and brawlers, and given that we can get 11 for free, it's quite likely you will get atleast one. Not even considering the fact that we get a free hypercharge rico skin.
