I like to kitbash! Just a suggestion....before u cut up that interior, u may consider making door cards from Evergreen 1/16 sheets. Basically, u could trace the door card outline off the outside of the interior tube on some graft paper and then transfer that to the styrene.

OMG, For someone who doesn't like kit bashing your a natural.. That things looking really good. Find you some ladder bars for the rear so ya don't twist the springs to much when it takes off.. Learned the hard way on a real car.... Great job can't wait for the finished product.😊👍

I love seeing you break out of your mold of only building box stocks. Box stocks are fun to build from time to time, but I am definitely a kit basher at heart! This car is going to turn out awesome! I wish they had a game that we could enter the car specs in to either show it's performance (like a virtual race) or if it was more of a show car or daily then it would be cool if there was a voting system of how awesome it came out. If I can figure out how to set something like that up one day that would be awesome for all the builders that are not so much into building on KZread(like us) and just more into building these kits. Can't wait to see the finished build.

So the NASCAR chassis is made for a small block engine. The Pro Stock chassis would be made for a big block. So that is why you are having so much trouble with that huge engine which looks like a 1/24 scale as well. It is a great idea...hope it comes out as good as it appears to.

I have had horrible luck trying to modify the Olds. First one was turning into the 68 Mondello VO Twister when it was red black and white. Modelhaus 68 conversation kit, Perfect lighting bolt paint job, white metal disk brakes roll cage, detailed engine, almost finished. Wife painted the living room while i was on a business trip and it disappeared. Second one a Jo-han 72 turned into an altered wheel base funny car. Polar lights drag frame, custom interior tub, real metal wheels and custom teal paint. Disappeared when i moved. I'm afraid to try again!!

Like to find a 68 cutlass since my mom had one that i guess she told us was a built 350 rockett when we were kids. We raced the one ways for pizza on a friday night and usually ate for free. Was just stoplight to stoplight tho.

Great stuff man, normally I like to do cowl hood with everything inside the engine bay, but when is going out I like stock hood style, just making a hole with the almost exact size for the blower and hat, my gasser, my daytime and my dodge are different on every way but that the way I like to do, you can do however you feel comfortable

This is an awesome build Matthew! This body style makes a perfect candidate for a Pro/Street car! I love building Pro/Street cars too. I have 18 P/S kits that I’m saving to kit bash other cars. The way you put the NASCAR chassis together with the Nova back half is really cool! Great work! But I’m a little confused, if you’re building a Pro/Street car, then why are you putting slicks on it? A street car tire should have tread on it. I know some of the P/S kits come with slicks, but that doesn’t make it right. At least that’s my opinion, I’d like to hear yours.

Very nice job on the Chassis!! If you wanted to smooth out where the 2 come together Ive used in the past is 2 part epoxy that self levels! Thats important! You have to read the box or tube for self leveling.I know that I set my Tubbed cars with the top of the rim even with top of the opening of the wheelwell. Raising the engine is much easier than messing with the pan.Just a few ideas

@@modelcarvideos5829 I thing one of the intakes from the Juke Box Ford kit can be made to fit with some effort. If you take and file down the top of the Nascar intake to a flat surface, a plenum from any high rise dual carb could work. This is done by many actual engine builders today.
