He is the victim of being the 5th guy on the GSOT. It took 40 years for the 1985 Bears to get 6 guys in the HOF and they only got 4, 5 and 6 in the last decade or so. Holt is going to have to wait sadly because Pace, Faulk, Bruce and Warner are already in. Same for Fletcher for that matter since he was also a member of that team.

i cried UGLY tears when i saw Dre, i was like is that ANDRE?!?!? Man he deserved so much more... but im so glad hes in the HOF!!!! Texans revolved around him making plays. I was 11 when he came to Htown and he made my entire teenage years something special.. Andre grinded and gave EVERYTHING to the Texans. Myself, Htown and every Texans fan ever appreciates you more than you can imagine Andre. So thankful you got in 80.. overdue if you ask me.

I’m from Houston as well, and I think what made his induction so special was that it felt like someone from ur small hometown making it big. Obviously Houston is not a small city, but the Texans in general felt small compared to other teams cause they’re the newest franchise and were always overshadowed by powerhouses like the patriots, colts, Steelers, ravens, etc. So to see someone from our team make it to the pinnacle of football is amazing.

Very happy for Randy Gradishar! Way overdue for this great honor. Congratulations sir.

@@Whatsthe_dill because he played longer. If you compare the 8 seasons Willis played to Wagner first 8 seasons Willis beats him in stats and accolades. Granted Willis missed 10 games his last year.

I am thrilled to know that Mongo got to live long enough to make it. And his wife, as caregiver, is a true hero. I don't know of many diseases that are more horrible to deal with than ALS. Congrats to Patrick Willis for finally being inducted! It was way overdue and he was a beast. Patrick will always be one of my favorites on the niners. As a niners fan this makes me really happy and I'm proud of him.

Man seeing Andre Johnson there got me all teared up. He deserves this. Can only imagine how awesome they must have felt when everyone stood to applaud. They worked hard for that moment.

Sterling "literally" was not. 3 of the 7 seasons he played were not special. Sterling would be the worst modern day receiver in the HOF by career score (an agregate score based on accolades and statistics) besides hester except that Hester was voted in as the GOAT return man not as a WR. By the same career score formula Davis had the 10th best career for a RB in history, Sharpe is 38th (and dropping), they are not analogous.

Seeing Randy Gradishar finally get in made me smile from ear to ear. I wasn't even alive when he played, but loved seeing him when watching old games from the 77 season. Part of the first Broncos team to reach a Superbowl and one of the most sure tacklers of the era, even when you watch his highlights, he is wrapping up and taking down, not just blowing people up with high hard hits that wouldn't fly now. 100% deserved, hopefully next in is Mecklenburg I need to see the Albino Rhino in gold.

Julius Peppers….I’ve been a fan since watching him dunk that basketball for Coach Dean Smith & the Carolina Tarheels….going to the Carolina vs Duke football games watching him reek havoc on those Blue Devils and excited that he was able stay home in NC - running through the tunnel in Charlotte, and continuing his legacy for our Carolina Panthers. Yes, I know….I know. But this is about “Pep” and his legacy, so for now, let’s honor generational players like Julius Peppers. GO PEP!!! KEEP POUNDING!!!

Still have my Julius Peppers jersey from 20 years ago. I remember watching the 2002 draft, begging the Texans to draft a QB, so the Panthers can draft Peppers 2nd overall. I was ecstatic, thank you Pep! 1st homegrown Panther in the Hall of Fame!

Seeing Randy Gradishar FINALLY get in makes me so happy. He was my guy when I was young. He was overlooked for way too long.

I remember playing old madden games and making unstoppable team and ALWAYS make sure peppers was the first player I chose. One of my fav defensive players

I wasn't a Bears fan, but I saw some Bears games where Rex Grossman essentially lost the game for them but they were bailed out by Hester.

I love the music playing in the background... It is so inspirational.
