JESUS, this is not only PERFECT, the guitar sounded even more vibrant and liberated than in the original!!!!!!! This has been my favorite Iron Maiden song since I heard it (maybe almost tied with "The Clansman" currently) and like "The Clansman", this is one of Iron Maiden's MOST IMPORTANT SONGS. It was also great you got scenes from the the show that inspired it (most of the episodes are available for free on you tube!) And NEVER has this song and Patrick McGoohan's creation been as CRUCIAL to all of us as it is right now. UP THE IRONS FROM THE VILLAGE

Hey buddy, are you forgetting that Dave's solo at Hammersmith Odeon in 1982 is partly improvised, by the way, all of Dave's live solo is at least 50% improvised, when it isn't entirely. That lick from the beginning of Adrian's solo was always a mystery to me too hehe. Hugs!

I've listened to The Number of the Beast's entire album reading the lyrics and I'm going to repeat the exercise because I noticed my English isn't very good 😞! This album is special because I used to listen to it with my brother, who lives there in Canada too, when we started to like rock and roll ☺️!

Really, thank you very much for this very kind comment! I think the genius is in coming up with these solos in the first place... Playing them is just a question of being stubborn enough to learn the licks 😆 I will probably do a lesson on both Adrian and Dave's solos later in the year and the both definitely worth learning! Great work. One request though. The original backing track is a little loud in the mix. I want to hear your guitar playing and tone. Only just found your channel and as Maiden fanatic from 1980 it's fantastic. Any chance of featuring Dave's live solo from Monsters of Rock 1988 version of 22 Acacia Avenue? It has a fantastic delay tone and Dave adds few more hammer ons & pull offs compared to the album one. Keep up the good work :)

1:50 wow I never realized the guitar isn't playing more of a melody here. (I'm a bassist by nature, but have played guitar for a number of years too). Your arms or fingers aren't even tense in this. You obviously have killer chops bro. Great cover

Adrian plays it with his Jackson on Maiden England 😊 You just need to practice your stretches a little.. adjust your hand position a bit and it becomes easier.

Which one do you think is a better guitarist, Adrian or Dave? I would say that you like Adrian more than Dave. And what do you think about Janick? My opinion is that Janick should not have joined the group. I think their biggest failure is Janick. And that he is not the guitarist for them. And that they should still stay with Adrian and Dave. I honestly think that Kai, Michael and Sasha live better than Adrian, Dave and Janick. What do you think, Adrian, Dave or Janick, who is better in your opinion?

They all play very differently and they have different strengths so I couldn't say which is better... I have a slight personal preference for Adrian's style but I am a fan of all three Maiden guitarists and I wouldn't have the band any other way. I'm also a big Helloween fan and have been since the late 80s - going to see their show tomorrow in fact! But I prefer the playing style of the guys in Maiden. Just a personal preference... I don't know or care who is "better" 😃
