Im not a theater person and i want a humidifier.

Lara needs to be a daily blogger. She's fantastic

theater people have the best speaking voices so melodic and pretty cause they are so in shade with their voices

I volunteer with orchestra pits (clarinet), and every opening night, I make cupcakes for the pit. Nice to know there are Broadway sweethearts like Laura Osnes that have similar traditions as me :)

I was smiling throughout the whole video. Laura has this sweetness that totally carries itself through camera. She seems like such a wholesome, down-to-earth person

She loves animals, she bakes these little cute cupcakes, she has a step mother, and she writes beautifully. Yep, I conclude, she's really a real-life Princess.

I want to do this so badly. I WANT TO KNOW THE JOY OF OPENING A SHOW. I know it's going to take a lot of hard work and I have been working hard. I practice every day, learning the songs and dances. I've even put together a rep book just for practice XD Don't give up on your dreams y'all. I'm 13. Follow your dreams.. P. S HUMIDIFIERS ARE THE BEST GIFTSSSSS

@@evierichmond1425 I just closed my first leading lady production. I played Sammy Lane in an original musical of the book "The Shepherd of the Hills". God has been so good and taught me so many amazing things. This is only the beginning!!

Cinderella should be brought back out to Broadway!!

She is one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen...such a classic beauty, and although she doesn't resemble Grace Kelly, she has the same beauty (you know, the creamy skin, the refined cheekbones...) :)

Michael I. Haber I think it is sad that Herman died of heartbreak when the Cinderella show ended on broadway........ it was real sweet of Laura to get a goldfish for Santino as an opening night gift.........

Love you, Laura! You are always the same sweet girl (young woman) no matter who you play on Broadway! I hope someday to see you in New York! Missed you in Grease when you were on Vacation in Feb. Best Wishes on Cinderella. My Grandson, Jake, who is 12 is a Aurora, Illinois, Paramount Production of "Fiddler on the Roof," as one of the Jewish Boys. Can't wait to see him next week. He loves musicals. Thanks for being true to yourself and your faith, no matter who you play on Broadway.

Ahh I always loved this show and my school is doing it this fall!

Laura is sooo sweet!! I am so happy for her.

She and the entire cast were great. It's a really fantastic show. We caught the last of the previews before opening night, but I absolutely recommend the show! Laura, who I had the pleasure of meeting at the stage door, is the perfect Broadway princess. The cast could not be more talented or nicer, and the magic in the show - particularly the costume changes - is jaw dropping. Congrats to the cast and crew of such a magical show!

This is my fifth time watching this vlog. I regret nothing

I thought that was awesome too, the perfect way to prepare for Cinderella ;)

she's honestly just a magical person.

Saw her as Cinderella, if she does not recieve a nomination in some form or the other, their is something truly wrong with this world. She was just so sweet and lovable, and you could tell she was having a blast.

I think they use the wigs since they hold the styling best (the curls won't fall out), and then when you have to change hairdos in the show you can just yank one off and put the next one on instead of e.g. making an updo from scratch (quick changes, not so fun). Plus, its the same every night or when an understudy comes in

you should watch the "fly girl" series with lindsay mendez...it's another behind the scenes video except its for wicked. But the whole cast is super goofy and down to earth too and its funny to watch them haha.

This is such a good video!

One thing I love about Laura (and only a certain few others come off this way) is that she seems SO down to earth and loveable and everything, she REALLY does seem to be the totally awesome girly friend you can just go hang out with and have fun with etc. As i said, there are a few like that but some of the stars do come off as snobbish or bitchy a little but she is one of the ones that just seem like an awesome girl who would be fun to hang out with.

No, the musical (1957) came after the movie (1950). Although this musical is obviously based on the 1957 R&H tv movie musical
