Love makes people deaf, dumb, blind, and flat out stupid. It's been that way since the beginning of time. Having said that we hurt the ones that we love the most, sometimes unwittingly and other times willingly. It doesn't make it right. In this scene they are both stubborn as hell and won't communicate how they feel. As a Commendary Prince he's been given WAY TOO much power especially over people. He honestly doesn't have the social graces of how to treat his concubine. He knows only his own pain. I'd smack him myself if I could. I understand both their positions but I'm on FLs side. She tries to be empathetic but selling her is so wrong and he would regret that move if someone actually took him up on that offer and mistreated and/or killed her. She doesn't deserve that disrespect. They will need to work their kinks out before they can be happy. He needs to learn humility and empathy and she needs to speak up effectively and communicate with him not telling at each other.

@@angelabarbee6901 I hear what you're saying but for me is STILL NO!! that kind of humiliation of a woman (of every person) and in front of people is unforgivable!!! And please don't blame love!! Love should make you a better person that wants the other party to be happy! And in those years there wouldn't be any kind of communication as men can voluntary did whatever they want! Why do you think women act in "fishy" ways as lots of men are accusing them...?? As men(society) want women to be second class people(objects in ancient times) and don't listen to their needs and thoughts,women had to find ways to support themselves! This happens even in 2023 as still society treats women harshly compare to men! The thing is that women still believe that they need a man so they can have status! Even in 2023 men and women are not equal at jobs, family, relationships!!
