I love the prince of Egypt.My mom has the dvd, she’s had it for over 20 years. I also want to be a movie writer producer and director when I grow up and last year I wrote a prince of Egypt stage play and it’s great. You should be the vocals for it hahaha it’s a musical.

I love this cover!!! The Prince of Egypt is getting an official revival of sorts, too. Stephen Schwartz (the man behind the music of the film) spearheaded a live-stage adaption of The Prince of Egypt. The soundtrack is out. It opened in London, UK's West End in February 2020, before the pandemic shut everything down :( The soundtrack arrangements and character arcs were shifted somewhat, so some tracks may not feel the way your nostalgia wants them too (This track being the most changed). But people say you do have to see it live to get the full blast of magic. Hopefully, when the pandemic is annihilated, there will be a Broadway adaption and some tours!

Mm this!!! Upon the first listening I wasn't as impressed as I was with deliver us and heaven's eyes. But I've given it a few more listens, specifically with headphones at full blast and it adds a whole layer of atmosphere that I haven't noticed in the first couple of hearings. So definitely recommend using headphones as OP said

The texture and vocal change between Moses and Pharaoh was amazing! It places you in between the vocal conversation between two brothers. The constant jazzy feel brings the entire arrangement together! This is ABSOLUTELY amazing! Wow

Less of a conventional one but yet another incredible arrangement nonetheless. I never get sick of your skills, Sam!

What I like about his covers is that he doesn't just make it nice to listen to, he makes it esthetically pleasing to look at as well. Different backgrounds, sizes of the clips and everything keeps it in sync and just makes it look really good.

I don't think you understand how much this means to me, and so many others. Although I hadn't seen the Prince of Egypt until recently (and I cried a lot to it), I grew up with this story, and with the retelling of The Plagues. It hits even more close to home now we're in an era with a plague - or many, if you mean it metaphorically. Musically, this is one of the most stunning projects I have ever heard. And seen. I turn out all the lights and watch this with headphones on full. Each time I look at different versions of you singing different parts, and choreographed, and it blows my mind. I know that this must've been so much work, and so much time, and I want you to know how much I appreciate it.
