The best part of the race game with 4 cars is the fact they used the "Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour" music cue.

This September, we hit 50! Wow, how time flies!

I’m actually so impressed that the production team managed to sneak in FOUR (!!!!) cars on the stage without anyone in the audience knowing. I honestly thought Drew would enter through the audience because of the sheer complex staging of this.

This was the first game, they had it set up before the audience arrived. The second game was Double Prices which they had set at the edge of the stage, so the cameras were facing the audience. I am guessing the cars were removed through the 3rd prize door and to back of the studio or they were slid away to clear the vehicles. It was definitely a task...I am guessing they did that during the commercial break after Double Prices.

It's the slight emotions of ungratefulness and negativity by the audience and by some contestants that kills their chance of ever being selected to play or play again else where. Staff are always watching. Also so refreshing to see a contestant win when another contestant bids $1 higher!

You can thank the producers who decided to snub him because there was something happened that last season, a prize offered or something, and the company had a bad reputation about animal treatment and Bob called them out on it, they got pissed, decided to snub him and people got PISSED! Bob said it brought great attention to the animal cause again because of the snub.

@@leandar So ya, they offered Bob a trip to the animal kingdom, which puts animals in cages and makes them suffer, which Bob HATES. He declined the offer to even come on the show for that reason alone. It’s sad that the producers didn’t do their research and that one mistake secured Bob not being on the show.

Bob would be like, "Ohhhhh and we're starting off the season with a perfect one-bid!"

yeah I was wondering the same thing a few months ago. So I just googled it now to see! It says During this time frame August 2011, Drew fell while jogging and separated his clavicle. The article says he got it operated on in December because it didnt heal right. He also hurt his arm during the price is Right rehearsal in 2007 on a rotating platform that his arm got caught in. Love Drew he really made the Price is Right a ensemble show with the models and announcer!

My plan: Sell one just to pay the taxes. Sell two others for the cash. Keep the fourth. There's always the problem the taxes are computed on the retail price the show is displaying, not for what deal you can get at a car dealer.

Maybe, maybe not. When the second version of the show started in the 1970's, the show was actually called "The New Price Is Right." After it wasn't new anymore, they removed "new." The 1950's/60's version was pricing games, but the format was quite different. I consider them different shows.

What a way to open the show, but after that, I was thinking every game was going to be bigger than usual. Can you imagine being the 2nd or 3rd contestant? You see the first woman win four cars, then you get on stage and are offered a trip worth $8000.

well, the question is did she end up with any of them when she got home -- she have to pay the taxes and fees on all of them - when she gets home the dealer in area is notified she won, and she have to pay what is owed in fees plus to the IRS - i mean nearly 60k in 4 cars she had to shell out quite a bit -- my guess is she probably took one of the 4 -
