has there ever been a the price is right episode where the first four contestants consisted of four males or three males and one female to compensate for the many shows where it's been vice versa of that with the first four? it seems that all of the episodes from the 1970s and from the early and mid 1980s had only one guy or no guys at all as part of the first four contestants. who picks the contestants, and why did they seem to often do it that way? it doesn't seem fair to the male contestants.

I've been watching alot of these and most of the time the showcase showdown consists of two women. This episode is no exception. I don't think they rigged it that way though. Women do most of the shopping so they're better at guessing prices.
