The Price Club - what Costco used to be
When Costco announced it was about to open its first warehouse club in the UK in the early 1990s, Nick Peters reported on how it already worked in the USA, under its previous brand name, Price Club.

I hope the mustard lady is doing well.
My Dad called Costco the Price Club for like 15 years after it was called Costco lol
Price Club had better pizza, better ice cream, better samples, better prices, better atmosphere, just better overall. Best slice of pizza I'd ever eaten was at Price Club in the 90s, and close to best cone of ice cream (their vanilla-chocolate swirl was out of this world). Costco is alright but Price Club was better.
I remember going to a Price Club in San Francisco in 1987, the first time I visited America with my mother and brother. I was 15. It never occured to me that I could've migrated to that country. I just thought it was a cool place to spend vacations from school. And now I'm old and it's too late. :(
It’s crazy how I remember stores like Fedco and Price Club during my childhood in the late 80s and early 90s times were so simple then😊
Now it’s $60.00: Wow blast from the past
They were far better than Costco
I bought my Cambell Hausfeld air compressor at the Price Club in 1985, i'm still using it to this day!
I remember going to Costco for the first time as a kid in 2004
$2 Dollars BILL
I remember when my Costco was a Price Club, and I remember they had a trampoline hanging up vertically for display.
Good memories. Lol. I've been a member since June 1986
Sol Price was an amazing philanthropist in San Diego
Imagine buying stock at this time in costco
This video gave me nostalgia, thanks! How are you doing?
Fue un legado de los club de compras . Sol Price fue un gran visionario , hoy ese club se llama Price Smart
Jam! Uh huh! Ain't too much stuff! Jam! Uh huh! Ain't too much baby Jam! 😆😆
We had one in Ottawa ontario. It wasn't popular. People just were not ready for that type of shopping experience. It also had kind of a scary vibe to it, the lighting was very bad.
the stack of jeans is still a staple till this day 😁
Still big as ever
