Haunted Emma I'm just saying there's more than a good chance she didn't get it from the show.

While this is by no means a bad song, it seems to accessible considering how dark and hard their last album was. I feel like this song has been done before many times. Hopefully, the rest of the album will be darker and more messed up.

I remember when people said Heaven Knows was too generic and so on but the rest of the album was heavier and all the songs were amazing, even when they weren't heavy (Waiting For A Friend for example). Take Me Down to me sounds like the love child of Light Me Up and Going To Hell. It's a good song and I do understand why some might think TPR is going lighter with their music judging solely by this song but I think we should hear the full album. TPR's albums are always stories that are told in the form of songs and its difficult to judge a whole album by one song. I do understand where you're coming from tho.

she never left them, she still a slave of the industry but in a diff more satanic perspective, she is not being herself if she says she's atheist but sings about the devil in a whole album, and the first song of the third album is the same. Repetitive lyrics, basic chords, not telling you anything other than she is with the devil going down as she has already said in 10 songs... boring!

well you must know something I dont. I dont ever recall Momsen admitting she is an atheist. From what Ive read she says she is distant from religion but never an atheist. She has said that she uses religion metaphorically in songwriting so when you hear words like devil, hell, down, etc dont take her so literal. In my opinion, Momsen is one if not the most honest lyricists in the industry to date specially compared to Top 40 singers who most dont write their own songs. Songs about the devil? 10 of them? Going To Hell, Heaven Knows, Take Me Down, maybe Goin' Down but thats about it. But like I said dont take the words so literal and look at the bigger picture. Study the songs a bit.

That is exactly what I've been doing the lyrics are more than it seems, what does Make me wanna die really stands for? She mocks religion, god, and say things like she sold her soul, that she don't need to be saved, she's all for the nigh, being evil and with the devil, going down with it, I mean Goin' down is having sex with a priest, follow me down has a darker sexual meaning too, she says she no longer has a soul of her, going to hell, heaven knows, both videos and lyrics are blasphemy, sweet things is like a child selling to the devil in exchange of things, burn is about burning in the darkness and hopelessness, kill me and under the water is about her horrible teenager years with drugs and she's always talking about the night and the enlighten of sun kinda satanist. It's a lot, plus all the symbolism in videos since the beggining, she came from Gossip Girl and it has proven to has illuminati symbolism too. I think truly that her parents sold her to the media since a child and her all life manager Kato has been using mkultra in her since then, that's why they put them trough out horrible things as she tries to tell is some lyrics, I feel bad for her, I truly feel she has lost her way, look at their revolver god's award pic, they all have all kinds of illuminati accesories on their outfit. It's hard for you to understand or see them if u haven't known what all those satanic symbols are. But now she made it again on another song talking again about her soul sold to the devil and going down.

That's right, they are improving musically, but if people are surprise, they clearly didn't pay attetion to Going to Hell, it was full of songs indicating their 'new' sound, like Messed up World, Why'd Bring a Shotgun, even Heaven Knows. And sounds like they are putting a lot of a 'classic rock' feel in their songs from now on (again, the same feel in a lot of songs from going to hell, even the title track, just listen to the guitar on it) and that shows how much talent they have, because they are able of change their sound without making bad songs. Sorry my bad english, but I need to talk about it, because I really can't understand why people are surprise and disliking the song.

I've watched this band grow up and I'm so proud of them and this new song. Wow.

"Crossroads" has a deeper meaning than it would first appear. Actually, several. Great '60s feel to this song. TPR keeps changing things up, keeping it fresh. Love it!

I love how (loosely) 70s-esque this sounds! Fantastic song!

I'm glad that they're sound has changed because it shows that they're versatile and don't stick to one specific sound. its more interesting when a band has a slightly different sound than their last records, which is what TPR has. take Tegan and Sara for example. Eight records through their whole career, and each one sounds different than the one that came before it even if it is only a slight change. change is good when it comes to music. don't get me wrong, I LOVED Going to Hell, but I can't wait for the new record. its gonna be just as badass and amazing even if it's not as dark and heavy.

I don't know. I love heavy, bit they do the less heavy stuff better in my opinion. Hit Me Like A Man and Light Me Up are my favorites but Going To Hell is a bit meh. I like it, I just think they are so much better suited for this type of rock.

In all honesty if they were to contact Mark Sheppard and the people in charge of Supernatural, they'd probably let them have Mark in the actual music video as Crowley.
