I personally feel like this is one of their best songs, which is ironic considering it was only ever a bonus track/demo. Considering how early this was recorded, I feel like she must have gone through some real shit at a young age and you can really feel that listening to this song.

Feb 2022 update since y'all are lovely: yes, we're still very much together after nearly nine years. We even moved out of the city and bought a cabin out in nature to live out every one of our peaceful queer cottagecore dreams haha, thanks for all the love and support 😍 I used to cry and play this on repeat when I was living alone in a big new city, I'd had to move away from my boyfriend for work and missed him so much. We're gay but hadn't come out publicly yet. Now we've been together for eight years and we're getting married. Listening to this song now and remembering how even then I knew he was the one 💞💞💞

Levi, I wish ya'll happiness and a long prosperous life. This song makes me cry everytime i listen to it. I never knew what kind of partner I wanted and alwats kept myself closed off. Never wanting kids, never wanting marriage or anything. October 24th, 2019. I met a woman that was everything I never knew I wanted or needed in my life. Because it wasn't released on an official album. The band has not officially released any of the tracks they scrapped from previous albums. All the videos of this song and others not found on any of their albums are considered "leaked." and Itunes and spotify won't feature any song not officially released.

it is just different, there is guitar that is only in the right ear that surprised me, I prefer it with just the left, but both are amazing

I know the lyric “I wish you were there to walk me home” is meant to be “dare” but I’m in a long distance relationship and this songs been like my falling in love song for so many years so I feel like this is a little sign from the universe that I’m on the right path :)
