Could definitely be a dead crowd. But also a bunch of these live videos use the audio that comes straight from the mixing console. The people that were singing might not have been loud enough to get picked up on the mic. But yeah, also didn’t look like many were singing anyway lol

I wonder how many people calling out the crowd for being apathetic knew much about the Pretty Reckless themselves back in 2011. Their first album had only been released a few months when this was filmed. In 2011 The Pretty Reckless weren't all that well known in Britain and weren't high on the bill at Download Festival so the crowd reaction isn't all that surprising. Apathy rather than dislike. Now they're much better known and have been added to the Download lineup for 2022, so you can bet the crowd will love 'em this time around.

I mean yeah, they were a nepotism band that just got to play their first shows at festivals like this. I like them but they didn't earn it like other bands, can't blame the crowd for not knowing them

A couple years later when they do this song. The crowd was very vocal because they knew the song and band. This was really early in their career
