I make 29 in a few days. I felt that pressure and still feel. I went through bad relationships. I left the country to work and grow my career. I did cut off all my friends to find myself. Let's says I'm happy finding myself now. Ive hit a few financial goals and I'm clear about who I want to marry. I pray marriage will happen to me. If it doesn't I'm already on my path of personal fulfilment. There's someone I'm talking with and it's mature now. All I can say,find yourself.

Sometimes leaving the country is one of the best decisions. Uganda does not have a lot going on. It's weddings and Kwanjulas back to back. When you leave the country you see life in a different light. There is more to marriage and having kids. There is a whole lot out there people. I commend those parents who never put their children under pressure to get married.

I clock 30 this August...l am.thankful I kept myself and I knew it was for the best..I have been relating..and Next year we shall be visiting..the pressure comes..but..with prayer,patience and wanting to be the best..thankfully my parents have not asked me when this when that narra...I started to feel the pressure at 28... And then there those friends your wasting time etc..I kept saying guys everyone has got there time and God's timing is best.. I am glad I net someone who even flew to where I am just to ask me can we embark on this..I first kept them on Katebe....and guess what they flew second time to ask me.... I started to study and prepare myself..thank God most of my married friends were in different country from now.... So the pressure is there but know and understand what you want..and prepare your list...they may not have it all..but check and weigh in.and let them in from start am not here for jokes and games am here for good!..so are you in it for good too..if not..move baby gal.otherwise your going to struggle alone... Above all discover yourself!..

The pressure maybe too much and leads us into regrets with forcing relationships. I can't heal😭

Life is a journey and when it comes to marriage, it's not a one day event that happens out of the blue.. It's a union between two people who are ready to tolerate each other

Thank you for the advice Flavia, I am 23, still a virgin 🤗, I have been having a lot of pressure lately about my dating life, asking myself questions of who would date me. I clearly need to first love myself before anyone can. You are right when you say we shouldn't force our partners in marriage, I am not thinking about marriage just yet but, been somehow trying to trigger someone to date me(it ain't) working😂 clearly, he is not ready for a relationship (with me). I have realized that and now I am on a journey to self discovery 😀❤️

You’ve spoken a very big point, knowing yourself/understanding yourself , it was until I leant that my entire life completely changed not necessarily marriage . It’s very important once you understand stand yourself, you’ll keep cup full and overflowing. Most times we blame others when we are actually the problem, once you’re whole and complete you’ll always live well with others because you know what to say and when to say what but once you’re empty and dry definitely there is nothing that comes out of empty cup.

I realized if you break down the whole thing that is in marriage and ask yourself how you could do about it, it will tell you if you are there or not. I recently released that I don't know the how for the parenting style I want to use and that is a clear sign that I might not be ready till I figure that out how am going to raise my kids without them going through what I went through. So am here learning how I will parent my kids.

I am 28 this yes the pressure is there from family from friends but recently I made a decision to focus on me I walked away from a relationship that clearly had no future and immediately someone I dated in the past is here and his mature now coz we broke up in the past coz he was very undecided he seems serious now but I have given him conditions and we talking about officializing hopefully we do it but before this I had to do alot of self discovery and I am at a better place now
