I've been listening to music for about 55 years and everything from the 60's on and appreciate the evolution of rock n roll. I really enjoy the 90's rock, all of it, indie, underground, alternative etc..great sounds!! Thanks to all the artists for all of that great music!

The Presidents Of The United States Of America released "Lump" in 1995. The raucous rock song got plenty of radio airplay and exposure on MTV which helped propel it up the charts to number 1 on Billboard's Modern Rock Hits. Lead singer and bassist Chris Ballew wrote the song about a tumor in his head, not a girl. He had hoped the lump might be benign and therefore "dead". I hope knowing its about a tumor and not an ex-girlfriend doesn't spoil it for you. The "Lump" was benign, by the way.

I don't know why people are hating on 90's music in the comment section. The 90's has a ton of music that was the foundation of a lot of what we hear today, and that's coming from a teen born in 2004.

They had a good run from 1993 - 2016, with 6 studio albums and 1 album "Pure Frosting" that's kind of a compilation, but not a greatest hits compilation; this one's of a few live tracks and songs that otherwise didn't get to an album.

Fun Fact: in 2008, Weird Al Yankovic actually directed the PUSA song Messed up S.O.B and performed live with them in concert singing More than a Feeling by Boston

Love this lyrics and music

A song that came out when I was 4 and uploaded when I was in high school. Thanks for the memories!! This is a bona fide classic.

I gotta admit, I only had 3 strings on my guitar for a few weeks thanks to this band!

Listening again in 2021 and still love it.

This song takes me back to the time when I was a 90s kid, very fond memories. When I looked up into the internet, I finally found out that the song is about a Mindless woman who is in an abusive marriage but secretly goes into private parties. She always kept making excuses not to motivate herself and most of the time she does nothing. Until years later she got off the marriage, found a new lover, and then moved on.

I was 15 when this song came out, reminds of my skating days with this playing in the boom box. Those were good days!

The first 15 seconds of this song are literal perfection.

This is one of the songs I just start singing randomly every now and again, like while I'm doing chores around the house or driving. Classic!

I can NEVER get enough of POTUSA!!! I could listen to them for hours on loop. Such a fun band from the 90's...right there with Weezer!

This song gets in my head and I sometimes wake up in the middle in night in a sweat singing it.

Whether you like the Presidents or not, the sound that they get out of their guitars is amazing for only having 5 strings between the two of them! Dave Dederer plays the role of guitarist with 3 strings on his axe, while Chris Ballew plays the role of bassist with only 2 strings on his guitar. What an awesome concept!!
