But i just notice this pattern that on EVERY channel that makes AI voiced presidents including this one make all the presidents pretty much the same character. But part of Biden’s character is his shitty takes. Presidents Discord Server, Presidents Play, others, i swear i just disagree with Biden the most. I agree with Trump and Obama interchangeably. Trump usually has the best taste in stuff, but Obama is more level headed and in depth when it comes to explaining his opinions.

Tali’s romance and character really is the best, from being a young naive girl to a capable woman and leader. Her romance amplifies this, by allowing herself to something for her own wants, rather then focusing on the needs of her people, due to pressuring herself to live up to her father. That and she is so god damn adorable, what with her nervous school girl stutter and fan-girling over musicals And she got hips for days like god DAMN

I think she's the best pure romance, in terms of the time she gets to develop alongside Shepard and the emotional weight of the bond. Liara gets more time but it feels more hollow. Ashley has good emotional payoff but she gets less screen time to develop as a character, and all the other romances get as much or less time than this one. Tali is the only one who has it all and she's easily #1 waifu

I always like to wait until the third game to romance Liara. The unique version of the cutscene you get when you show real interest in her for the first time on the Citadel seals it for me. It feels more like a traditional romance in a hero's story because it has more build up, developing more naturally. It really feels like two friends that respect each other finally realizing that they were meant to be together. It's pretty adorable too, because Liara's so flustered that she almost doesn't believe it when you make your move. It's got that "For the love of God, just kiss already" energy to it. A solid S tier for my Baby Blue, all day any day.

That would be the most effective way to do Liara's romance especially if we took a realistic perspective to the relationship. Shepard was full military but then suddenly handed all this freedom as a Spectre, they wouldn't be so down to romance at a looming threat of invasion. Suicide mission has Shepard more loose acting, officially dead to the world they'd want to live their life after losing two years and getting it back only to risk it in a suicide mission. And with Liara stuck with her own business that separated would-be lovers would be finally paid off in 3 when they actually have time to spend with each other in the war to end all wars.

I still remember playing through legendary edition and initially romanced Ashley because I felt Liara was too immature or naive. Then, when i found out Liara was the one to look and find shepherd’s body, I felt so touched and like she was the companion who truly cared for shepherd. Then about half way through the game I was romancing Jack and ultimately decided to break things off with her. I just felt I was missing out on something truly special with Liara. Then comes the broker dlc and seeing Liara again in her new outfit and just being around her in a battle setting I knew she was the one. Mass effect 3 came around and it was really nice romancing Liara. It felt like reconnecting with an old friend who you had feelings for, but only now do you two get the chance to act on those feelings. I sometimes regret not romancing Liara in mass effect 1, but I feel like my shepherd had a more realistic go about his love life through the series. He thought Liara wasn’t mature enough, but after dying and being reborn thanks to Liara, he began to realize just how much she cared for him and the lengths she would go to, even more then other companions. Then by mass effect 3 the romance can feel a bit slow, but by the end it feels like you’ve actually been together throughout the trilogy as the stakes are so high.

Jack finally getting the S tier she deserves 👏

Tali has been the day one waifu. Her growth during the relationship is easily one of the best. Liara and Jack are close seconds for me, but engineer nerdy girl stole my heart in ME 1.

Should’ve just kept Emily alive and had her take Allers’ place, cause at least then it’s someone you have at least some small connection with if you did her side quest in Mass Effect 1 instead of just being Jessica Chobot

It's a shame that they ignored that FemShep can romance Liara, as well. Saying that FemShep doesn't have good options except Garrus is just untrue.

Could have changed some things about Jacob like for example: Make him idolise his dad like a hero and that inspiration lead him to join the Alliance to be just like him but have subtle hints in his dialogue that there are cracks and signs that his dad may not all be cracked up to be. In addition, during his loyalty mission when he finds out what his dad did, he should lose his shit (big deal since he's normally cool headed and doesn't let things bother him) and condemn and swear at his dad for a monster he has become ( insert dark knight quote here.) Keep the Original 3 choices on how to deal with his dad but have Jacob completely disgusted and angry at him. After the mission, The player should decide how Jacob should deal with the grief of the "death" of his father; either outright disregard him and remember him as a evil, cowardly POS, remember the good things/ values he taught him or let Jacob decide for himself. This choice should show the changes in his character and be more open up to Shepard. His romance on 2nd and 3rd should have discussions about his fear of ending up like his dad and being a monster and Shepard can reassure him that he won't. 3rd game if his dad was arrested, there could be a side quest where Jacob might want to rescue him despite being still angry at his actions and it could end with Jacob pinned down from reaper forces, his dad, showing genuine remorse for his actions and want his son to live, will sacrifice his life to save Jacob. This could make Jacob re-evaluate his view on his dad, a heavily flawed man who still did the right thing in the end.

Jack deserved much more in ME3. In her Tattoo scene, if you don’t go for the paragon interrupt she will exclaim that you are hers. I also don’t like how chill she is with the breakup. It is out of character. If anything I would expect Liara to be more chill with a breakup than Jack. Finally, aside from Tali, she seems to be the most loving to Shep despite not showing it much verbally. A very underrated romance. I also don’t agree that she should have been a romance option for femshep. I get it if she is available for a fling aka the renegade option, but not the full romance. It’s clear she is romantically interested in males even if she is sexually more open to both genders.

Jacob gets all the smoke in every video and I love it lol. F*ck that guy 🤣

Miranda is S tier and, with romance, had the best character arc going from an ice queen to literally begging you to promise you’ll come back from the suicide mission only to get fucked over in ME3 more than any other character. I’ll die on this hill. Samara is S tier. A woman who’s lost everything and for a moment she shows vulnerability when she leans into the kiss in ME2 only to pull back. “In another time, in another life” was very literal and it’s a heartbreaking story of a woman who only knows her current way of life and can’t allow herself to stray from it due to prior trauma. And Samantha’s A tier. I like her mix of nerdy and assertive nature and it’s cute when she talks about a future with femshep.

Bit of a shame that there’s no honorable mention of you being the wingman for EDI and Joker in this tier list. Also just a heads up to all viewers the biggest inspiration to why Garrus for Shep to dance is because it was a nod to James Cameron's True Lies It's a funny but also action flick from the 90s it's an homage to Arnold and Jamie Tangoing after the movie concludes

Goddamn it, Barry, I thought you got it! Among all male romance options Miranda's romance is S tier, if not S+ tier and I need only two words to prove it - sex scene. Because it's peak of any romance in this game. In ME1 male Shepard can have Liara of Ashley in his cabin before Ilos and their intimate moments plays almost identical. They are easily A tier - tense moment before final battle, dark room with few lights and blessed camera angles. They even praise commander for their skills in that battlefield. In ME2 Jack sex scene is not even there. Its more crying and feelings, which is nice too. But to comfort your partner when you already got stress of the suicide mission is not what you want. You can argue, that you get her sex scene after a couple of dialogs in early game, but you can't romance her after that, so it doesn't count. Tali's helmet scene is intimate and all, but her suit and face is pretty much all we got. Miranda's scene is hot, unexpected and badass. Instead of quite f*ck in Shepard's attic the goes balls deep - going all out in engineering room pretty much in plain sight with FUCKING WINDOWS in it. Miranda's goal is not only in getting it in setting that can get you discovered - she pretty much want to let all her rivals know that she got Shepard for herself alone. And her, unzipping her white suit, revealing this blessed breast? Your heart can stop and you will be fine with that cuz you got the best that galaxy have to offer. The only thing in that department that can come close - is Traynor in ME3, cuz she went all out on female Shepard in the shower. But she is for female commander only. Liara's scene was a banger too, so she is S tier as well. In ME3 Jack almost got nothing, Tali's scene is good, I guess. Miranda's scene in ME3 was not that great, I admit, but still better that Jack's. I rest my case. You should put Miranda in S tier, Barack.

I generally romance Ashley, and I enjoy it for the most part in comparison to the other ones as the rockiness makes the ultimate ending feel the most earned, and the ending on Earth when she tries to force her way into the final battle and trying to convince Shepard she can do it, and Shepard's "I know you can..." was a wonderfully emotional ending the fit her entire character and the growth she goes through in the course of these games literally perfectly. One of the few examples of good romantic writing in ME3 for anyone because the whole game is a crapshow of bad writing and everyone is worse off for it. Tali's great and a totally worthy relationship pick, but how can I take away Tali and Garrus as a couple from my top bro? That said, Obama makes a good point about her being too young seeming with the crush stuff, but I thought it was sweet too. She's great. The photoshop...eh. Hot take maybe but I didn't think it was as big of a deal as others. Miranda & Jack were both PRETTY well written, but the issue is just not a good amount of time spent with them and no worthwhile ending on Earth. Jack is a ton of fun when she calms down in ME3 and one of the few characters that feels like she actually improves in ME3, and to be fair if you break up with Miranda in ME3 her look of heartbreak is guaranteed to make anyone feel like the biggest POS in the history of the world. Liara is exactly what they said in the video and why I didn't like it. It felt like they were forcing it so hard on me throughout the games that I couldn't enjoy it. She is just too perfect. In my experience in real life that is just setting up for trouble down the line, so maybe it's a me thing. But I wasn't a fan.

I have to agree with Liara being seemingly forced upon the player. It's enjoyable but it doesn't feel earned and it's not as fulfilling as alot of the other options. Also a common argument I see in the pro liara side is about the fact you spend more time with her than anyone else, but I don't think that's fair. Rather than the amount of time you have I'd rather look at what you get out of the time you do have. And the quality of the time spent with Liara is just not as high as with others. I don't dislike her romance or character, but there's nothing special enough to make her S tier for me. Tali and Garrus rule supreme and I won't accept anything different. I'd argue beyond S even because I don't think they can be put on the same level as the other multiple S tiers. But that being said Jack and Thane both still deserve to be up there in S tier too, hence separate tier. But the journey the 2 of them go on makes me as proud as I would be my actual partner. I think i'm biased towards the growth and changes characters go on through their relationship. To this day I can't get over Jacob. I don't even have the words for him anymore. I just feel bad at this point. The Minor Romances mostly have alot of potential and I think that given the same amount of time they could be just as great as the best of them. So I personally judge them on comparison to the best single game the other romance paths have to be fair. Kelly is the biggest victim of the neglect these romances suffered I think. Her unfortunate sacrifice is why the ME3 romances are a bit better in this regard. Steve was nice and touching if a little bland (though I can see why people would enjoy that, while It's not really to my taste.) Samantha on the other hand rules. Personally I'd put her equal to Miranda at the very least. Miranda goes on the same journey whether you romance her or not. Samantha reveals so much more of herself through the romance, which makes alot of sense if you think about it. Any work colleague turned love interest should be the same. Honestly I'd put her in S tier and it's criminal that we didn't get more from her in the previous games. I think bioware struck some gold with her. Diane seems to be really into being the reporter who will do "anything" for a scoop considering she's so scared of being seen that way. Makes me pretty uncomfortable when I think about it. If she was open enough to brave the risks and go public I'd respect her alot, but the fact that she wants to have her cake and eat it too while looking like she's a fasting monk doesn't sit right with me. She's worthy of standing right above Jacob to me. James is an interesting 1 to me. I don't think it's fair to be called a romance by itself. It's a great fling though and if there were a 4th game with a continuation of his path, I could easily see how it could progress to being great.

I agree with Obama about Tali. She’s a great character for sure, but I always saw her more as a little sister than a potential romantic partner.

An absolute masterpiece. Definitley need to discuss more npc rizz in the future, but I dont know if any other games go as deep into the romance as mass effect. Also bring in more consultants in the future, IDK if George and Laura Bush would be all that fun to listen to, but the Clintons should definitely be in here.
