One of these days I'm gonna try out one of these little micro radios !! They look to be of great quality and the features are normally only on more expensive export rigs . Good job ,, glad to see President part of THE FARM FAMILY

They have really invested in there new radios. Everyone else is sitting around and they are cranking out new rigs all the time!

WOW ! I LIKE THE ANALOG METER AND MODERN FEATCHERS . SCAN IS A MUST THESE DAYS AS WELL AS PRESET CHANNELS. I DONT LIKE TO TAKE MY EYES OFF THE ROAD. WEATHER IS A MUST. GOING SHOPPING !

Vintage cb radio

installed my first Radio this week. I'm watching videos to learn. I havent talked to anyone yet.... If I'm hearing people talk. Would I assume they can hear me if I said something. I havent asked for an audio check.

No, they could be using an amplifier or have a superior antenna that gets more range than yours. Only way to know is to ask.

i grew up around cb radios my dad and brother owned a cb repair shop in early 90's i loved them back then my only issue with them now is still so low wattage i considered getting into ham radio but there is not a ve in my area for the testing

too bad, I wonder if you can do it online? I had to do an ASE test and was able to do it online, they were very strict on what was in the room with me

i dont know how things work online they used to have a ve just before the big c hit in 2020 in the next town over from me but now they are not even listed

I had to show my ID, show that there was no distractions, no cell phones, watches- They were looking to see if I could be cheating

Nice looking rig. Very few in Ireland use am. Most people here use ssb.. What frequency is the weather channels operate on on the cb your cb. Reg in Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪

All NOAA WEATHER RADIO stations broadcast on one of seven frequencies in the VHF public service band here in the United States anyway , they are as follows : 162.400 162.425 162.450 162.475 162.500 162.525 162.550 All in MHz . Hope this helps 👍

For a "Starter" Base Station, what would you recommend for the "Greenhorn Starter" into Commercial Band? The HIGHER the Antennae is BEST/BETTER? How to Ground to protect from Lightning Strikes? My Shed/He Shed to be built within the next 5+ years...

Yes, Height is king. The higher the better. And look for an SSB radio it adds range and a lot of fun to the hobby.
